I’ve been living in HD for over 8 years and love it! Close to everything, easy transits if you ever need to use public transportation, a friendly Kwik Trip right across the street (‘where everybody knows your name’ type of vibe, really cool), and Marissa and John working the main HD office have always been easy and supportive and helpful to work with! I really like it here and will probably be here for some time.

Diane is the best property manager out there. She made it quick and easy for us to move in to Heather Downs and was willing to work with my boyfriend and me. It's a great community to live in and is close to Elver Park and right across the road from a Kwik Trip (was PDQ). We lived in a dog friendly unit and my dog was welcomed. We didn't have any issues with the neighbors and parking was easy to find and no competition for the close spots.
It was a tough decision to move after our lease ended, ...
but Diane was helpful with everything. We got our entire security deposit back. They didn't try to nickel and dime us for anything.
Heather Downs is definitely one of the best places I've lived at while renting and I've lived at a number of other rentals. They have really timely communication and you don't have to worry about being just another rent payer. You are part of their community and will get treated as such.

The apartment is a little small... but doable for one person. The landlord here is by far the best I've ever had. She allowed me to have cats without charging ANY pet fees. And she has not raised my rent, living here 2, going on 3 years! Great location as well.
