    Management Stinks

    The took my entire deposit and charged me extra for cleaning after I spent hours going through my apartment and making things look nice. Things were cleaner when I left than when I moved in and they charged me $73 on top of my $400 deposit for "cleaning." They also broke my lease with a tour they gave no notice for. I never paid late or caused any issues. I'd never recommend them, management is shady.

    When I moved in, it was between Heritage Place and three other offerings. The decision was a no-brainer at the time since Heritage place was tied for being the cheapest while still managing to be better than the other places. Maintenance was top notch with almost every issue being addressed on the same day. Management is always friendly and genuinely seems to care about the residents. I had to relocate after three and a half years for school, but I'll definitely be looking at Heritage Place if I ...

    Walls are paper thin, can hear everything neighbors are doing. Rude when talked about complaints. Slow maintenance that is poorly done. Cheap appliances and flooring. Management gossips about all residents living there, drops their names, history, and apartment #s without hesitation.

    I've lived in my current apartment for a little over seven years now. And I have to say my landlord is top notch. Whenever I call with something that needs to be fixed, or if something happens where attention is required, she is quick to take action! Any issues are normally addressed and taken care of by the time I get home from work that afternoon. She is very attentive! They've also added a second landlord that is on call overnight as well, which is a great addition! When I leave for work at ...
    7:15 in the morning, I don't have to leave a voicemail and wait for someone to get back to me. The second landlord answers and things are taken care of. Maintenance is top notch as well! Fast and efficient at fixing anything that breaks. About the only thing that could be improved is the thickness of the walls. Sometimes it's pretty easy to hear the neighbors music through the walls or floor. But it is a fairly older building, so that is to be expected. Over all I would recommend Heritage Place. I've lived here since I've moved to Sioux Falls, and I don't see myself moving anytime soon.

    Walls are very thin and people were loud all hours of the night. sinks and tub were constantly needing unclogged. they were rude when we discussed moving out.
