March 4, 2026I would not recommend this property and strongly encourage prospective tenants to conduct thorough research before considering it. There have been documented concerns regarding management practices, including reporting issues related to communication, eviction filings, and fee assessments. Public reporting has highlighted challenges within the local eviction system in Anne Arundel County, including concerns about how Henderson-Webb handle failure-to-pay rent filings and payment plan situations. ...I encourage anyone considering this property to review independent news coverage and court records to make an informed decision. In my personal experience, communication has been extremely difficult. There is no on-site rental office available for direct assistance, and reaching management for timely resolution of issues has been challenging. Maintenance requests were not handled to my satisfaction, and when I inquired about replacing carpet after several years of tenancy, my lease renewal offer was rescinded shortly afterward. I also advise renters to regularly check their civil case records. Even when payment arrangements are in place, filings may still occur, which can create long-term consequences for tenants. Given that Anne Arundel County already has a highly competitive rental market and well-documented eviction concerns, these practices can significantly impact residents. As a veteran, I found the overall experience particularly discouraging. My interactions left me feeling that tenant concerns were not prioritized. There are also publicly available reports discussing allegations ranging from improper fee collection to broader management concerns. Prospective renters should review those materials carefully. For additional context, I recommend reading investigative reporting by The Baltimore Banner regarding eviction practices in the county before making a housing decision. Still Called Home
March 24, 2023Been living at Hidden Woods for some years now and the management are renovating upgrading apartments constantly, several units including mines have had completely new plumbing upgrades, new pipes in the walls resulting in wonderful shower water pressure although the pressure was very good before the upgrade. The maintenance staff is good and the call center personnel are responsive to your needs. Overall a nice place to call home.Property Manager Responded

Responsive maintenance and friendly management
March 9, 2023The management team is very nice and friendly. All my maintenance requests have been done quickly with satisfaction. The property manager came himself to my apartment under my request, few days after I moved in, to make sure my concerns were addressed properly and he was very nice. Thank you to him and to Antoinette, the leasing office agent who helped us a lot when we had some issues with our moving in process. She is very knowledgeable, Friendly and helpful to residents. Roaches
August 31, 2022I moved in 8-15-22. And I TERMINATED MY LEASE of 8-23-22. This place is crawling with roaches. I wish I can post pictures!! I stayed here for 9 days and had to pay 2 months rent to terminate my lease. DO NOT MOVE HEREProperty Manager Responded

Roaches , poor management
March 28, 2022For as much as I am paying management could be better because they take too long to come and they do poor work and within my 3 months of living there I’ve experienced roaches I’ve had an exterminator come out already and they have returned also wish there were better security like cameras other than that it’s pretty decent for my first apartment but may be moving soon thoughProperty Manager Responded

December 6, 2021I have had a few different issues in the 2 yrs in this unit which I transferred from an apartment in hidden woods that was my family home for 20 yrs and any issues that I have had or that the management has had with me has been able to be resolved in a reasonable manner w great follow through from Matt (main office) and Mrs.Herb (main office) we have worked together to be sure that all of our need are met and we are happy living here.Property Manager Responded

Not worth the money!!!
October 22, 2021The complex has an issue with roaches and maintenance has a very poor response time. All the appliances are outdated and dirty. Also, when the maintenance team does come they do not clean up behind themselves. They came into my apartment without notice or a ticket disconnected my stove and knocked a hole in my kitchen wall. It took them two days just to get them back out here to finish the work. The washer and dryer seem to always have issues and the lights in the laundry room seem to never ...work. When you enter the laundry room you need to use the flashlight in order to see; not sure how they see this as being safe.Property Manager Responded
