July 3, 2025Management is horribly unprofessional, wore a blanket during the tour and slept-walk through it as if we woke her up from a nap. Ghosted us after getting our deposit, had us drive hours for appointments only to never show up, and they never answer the phone or return calls during business hours. They were supposed to video call us for a tour after one appointment where we drove to see the place in person only to get turned away after a two hour drives but they didn't call us at all. We had to ...reach out multiple times. As a result of their delay, we had to reschedule our movers and cleaners at great personal cost. No one on their team even had a floor plan filed for our townhouse and couldn't tell us what was included. Mind you other people already lived here and they were planning to rent it again but hadn't bothered even looking at it. When we did the move in inspection, we noted multiple issues including trash left under the sink, the bathrooms being half cleaned, and spots were things were painted over instead of repaired. To top it all off, the upstairs toilet had not worked since move in. It's one of several maintenance issues we had to alert them to on the FIRST DAY. The maintenance crew however is great and typically only take a day for turnaround time. My issue is, less than a month in, we shouldn't be having so many issues. The entire upstairs bathroom flooded and as a temporarily disabled person, it almost caused further injury. After half a dozen calls, maintenance pulled out an entire Playstation controller from the previous tenant that should have been found before move-in or even during the initial visits. The whole place is a huge liability and we regret moving in. When we tried to call the office to request a new toilet, no one answered. Ever. In the middle of a work day. When we initially brought the above issues to their attention, they accused me of being jealous and told my boyfriend they were happily married -- umm okay. Not only irrelevant but also overly familiar when our issues are related to the work -- or lack thereof they do. Do not move here or any other Morgan properties.Property Manager Responded

Poor Management
October 13, 2019Management services have steadily declined,management does little to nothing to address maintenance issues or tenants quality of life Maintenance and service request go unanswered, loud and noise complaints goes unresolved while rent steadily increases and services steadily decline. Was a good apartment complex until management changed
April 10, 2019These apartments used to be somewhat nice but management has changed and is run terribly. The only good reviews are from years ago when it was run much better. The office loses everything and will not contact you back unless it is an easy question. There is trash and dog poop everywhere. They will increase your rent for no reason. I would not recommend anyone living here unless you want many headaches from the office.Property Manager Responded

beware...
January 10, 2018they don't fix anything and will say they did in their orders. good luck trying to get out in the snow they don't plowed until the afternoon. nothing is included including water trash and sewer. gym sucks!! very tiny. drug dealers around apparently they don't do much background check like they said. last summer there was a shooting in one of the apartments. too much good luck going up and down in that hill. if you decide to move you will see what I'm talking about....Property Manager Responded

Quiet Rustic Country Setting
October 8, 2015The complex has a rich landscape of trees that reminds one of wilderness camping. The noise level is minimal with an occasional hum of children laughing and playing. Although the complex allows pets and has a dog park for mans best friend, the vast area seems to hide the barks so they seem unnoticeable. The area is located in an elevated part of Syracuse in a great school district. Buses do run along the street that runs through the district so children can get to school safely and on time. ...What really sets High Acres apart from the rest is the police satellite station that sits quietly leading to the entrance. It does not protrude giving the complex a sense that it is almost like having their own security. I have lived here for just over a year and any complaints I do have, if any, are very petty. The units seem to hide noise as well. The units are housed in brick so they do reflect noise at an optimal level. Landscaping is not overwhelming and the work is usually done when needed not to over do it. In the winter season the roads are plowed nicely and early enough for the earliest commuter. A public transit bus also runs through the unit, though only twice a day, but enough. A great community that does not tolerate noise to be excessive past 9. The only draw back from the community area is the cars that seem to travel faster than they need to, but hey it's new york and people need to be somewhere faster for no good reason. September 25, 2015The apartment itself is nice, very old, but nice. Any repairs that need to be done can generally take a while to get done. Good thing for bad tenants is that no matter how many complaints you get against you- you will never have to face any consequences by the front office. July 23, 2015I need to give full rating for this apartment community as it got well maintained, nice townhouses, gym,pool and tennis court.
