Kewser, Richard and Laura are incredible n so friendly, and very proactive! My AC was having trouble getting cold. Within minutes of getting to the office Kewser was on the phone finding a solution. Within the hour, Richard was at my door setting up a portable AC. I travel for work, and can’t tell you the weight this took off my mind! The next day, the AC was fixed! Great job by this crew!

Worst Apartment Experience

The complex and staff seem promising when touring and the curated model unit looks lovely, however once the lease is signed is when things change. I lived here for one year and it was the worst apartment experience I’ve had - management is terrible, maintenance is terrible, the place is falling apart and units have large amounts of mold.
I moved in during summer and was without A/C for about a month, with outside temperatures above 85 degrees, qualifying as an emergency but this still took a ...
month to repair. Also upon move-in my front door did not securely lock, which is also classified as an emergency, and this also took over a month to be responded to.
If a work order was not cancelled and maintenance did respond to a request, it could easily be left worse than before. I had two appliances that needed replaced (one because it wasn’t in the unit when I moved in) and neither was installed correctly. Despite the lease contract charging residents for the apartment to supply internet and valet trash, neither of these were provided with any consistency.
When I requested to speak with management, I was spoken down to and brushed off. I had faster responses and more success reaching out to the parent company (at the time 29th Street Communities) to get answers and request maintenance.
I did really like my kitchen faucet though.

It does not surprise me in the slightest that this place has a 2 star rating.
My boyfriend and I applied here around 2-3 weeks ago. They emailed me saying my boyfriend’s form of income was not coming through. I sent it multiple times again with no response for days - a week. I finally drive up there and get everything uploaded.
After multiple attempts to reach out to them after doing so they finally respond stating that we make $80 less than 3x the rent but would be happy to accept another ...

I responded that I actually do have a side form of income through the same owner I work hourly for, but I worry your manager would assume it’s a lie due to me just now bringing up this form of income. He assured me I could send in a letter from this owner stating the arrangement of my employment with him.
No response again for days. I learned the trick. Always hit 1 for “interested in leasing an apartment” because if you hit 3 “speak with someone in the office” it’ll immediately take you to a voicemail that they don’t ever answer to. So today I hit “1” she pushes my application ahead just for them to tell me my form of income appears to be a LIE!!! WITHOUT EVEN CONTACTING THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS TO SHOW ANY OTHER FORM OF PROOF.
I have never had this happen to me until hilliard station apartments. Bottom line I was BLESSED with a denial from this place. DONT LET THEM TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT RESPOND TO YOU OR STATE THAT YOUR PROOF OF INCOME IS A LIE WITHOUT FURTHER LOOKING INTO IT

This place is an absolute joke. Believe all the bad comments you see because it is very true! This place needs an entirely new staff. When I visited the property, even one of the staff members said “do not move here, you won’t be happy”! Two staff members quit while I was waiting to be approved. Also, they will take your money and never return it if you don’t move in. They will never answer the phone, emails, or any requests. Please save your money people.

I have lived at HS for 3 years. Nice apartments. Quiet area (i live in the back). However, management is horrible and refuses to address issues UNLESS they can do it "hiding" behind a computer screen. Trash service is HORRIBLE but yet we are stuck paying a monthly fee. No issues with maintenance so far...This year the pool is STILL green and unkept! Groundskeeper is NONEXISTENT as are the leasing staff. Emails, phone calls FORGET IT! No response! We pay BIG BUCKS for absolutely ZERO in ...

Don't answer their phones, emails and are not the good with communication or I'd had moved in by now and there'd be no complaint. I've had to do all the work and when I had my application and lease completed online, I came in to make my deposit and after they had it they let me know the apartment on my lease was no longer available and they'd be in contact. I kept reaching out to them for 6 weeks, leading into 2 weeks prior to my move in date and they didn't have an updated address so I asked for ...
refund and they said they'd be in touch. It's upsetting you want to move in somewhere, they take your money and then don't give it in return for a place to live or a resolution. I still need a refund since my move in date was this week and nothing came of it. $900 gone. Be careful... I saw below I wasn't the only one this happened to.
