Living at the Hive has truly been one of the best parts of my college experience. From the moment I moved in, I felt a sense of comfort and community that made it feel like home right away. One of the most positive experiences I’ve had as an apartment resident happened during a power outage in our building last winter. A heavy snowstorm had knocked out the electricity for several hours, and at first, everyone seemed frustrated and inconvenienced. However, what could have been a stressful situation turned into a meaningful experience. Neighbors began gathering in the hallway with flashlights and candles, checking on one another to make sure everyone was safe and warm. One family ...
invited a few of us into their living room, where we shared snacks and played board games by candlelight. Someone brought extra blankets for an elderly resident, and another neighbor shared portable phone chargers so we could stay connected. Instead of feeling isolated in separate apartments, we felt united as a community facing the situation together.

Overall the building is great. The courtyards are very loud when people are down there, you can hear everything even with windows closed. Management is nice.

Living in this apartment has been a great experience. All staff members are extremely kind and helpful. Whenever I have needed help with a maintenance request, it never takes very long to get it done. They do a great job putting on a lot of different events.

Despite some loud residents and the trains, I do enjoy living here. The staff are helpful, it’s also important to remember they’re students as well and are busy, but when you need something they’re always there to help and resolve an issue. The apartment is clean and the amenities are great!

I love the hive! Everyone is so welcoming and it’s a great environment. I truly couldn’t imagine living somewhere else. I’ve met some of my best friends through just hanging out in the courtyard, playing pool, etc.
