Bad Air Quality and Worse Management
November 13, 2018Beware! You might be sacrificing your healthy by choosing to live here! Advise to existing tenants - this property management use very cheap air filter ($2 / piece) that is only good for 30 days, so change it as often as you can or use your own. Advise to newly moved in tenants - DO NOT assume your air filter is a fresh one upon moving in like I did. Advise to possible tenants - look elsewhere. really.. this property management only cares about their bottom line and not responsive when ...confronted with problems caused by their oversight. Here is my situation - I lived here for about three months and been having all sort of respiratory healthy issues, which I have no prior records for. And it comes time to change the air filter I found out why... I pulled out an air filter completely caked with dust mite AND dry wall dust. When I confronted the property management about this, below are the responses I got over the past weeks without any actions taken from them yet. Assistant PM & Maintenance Manager - confirms that this is typical build up for about 4-6 months, so it was most likely changed right when the last people moved out. That would also account for the drywall dust/paint dust buildup. Then they offered their apologies and a stack of $2 filters for me to change as often as I like. VP of Multifamily - asked when is a good time to call and never called. Then proceed to pass me down to the Operations Manager Operations Manager - she just tells me it’s tenant’s responsibility to change the air filter and they need to consult their legal department for further action, such as to allow me to move out of a not very healthy living environment. So I am currently suffering from constant coughing, shortness of breath, chest congestion, occasional random fevers, and another 8 months of living in this place. NEGATIVE STARS, don't deserve any but wasn't allowed to submit feedback unless I checked one
September 1, 2018Nothing works! All these amenities but none work and we pay a monthly fee. Unacceptable. Always an excuse to why something doesn't work. Lease is about up and we are running fast. The turnover is also a problem. Plus they don't take cleanliness seriously. With so many pets, why not vacuum more. I suggest searching for other apartments in the area before renting at this location.Property Manager Responded

Monies not refunded
September 14, 2016Liv North has a lot of amenities that interested us enough to fill out an application. However, the app didn't assure us the apartment we liked. We had to put money down to hold the unit picked until the app was approved or denied. It was approved 3 days after we were told it would be (holiday weekend and also a third party processes the apps). They wanted us to put more money down for a deposit due to lower credit score. Ok we could do that possibly. We were given 72 hours to decide. At the 48 ...hour mark, my dad had a stroke that would force us to pack immediately and head back to Indiana. We let the Liv know...and that's when we were told that the $240 "hold" monies would not be refunded. We hadn't signed a lease, we hadn't committed...we were told we had 72 hours!!! Very disappointed, but hindsight glad to find out before we were locked in there. We couldn't imagine the unprofessional behavior that could follow this.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 6, 2015In all the apartments I had looked at before I moved to phoenix, Liv North Scottsdale was definitely more luxurious than the other ones I've looked at. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance or a very short 5 minute drive. They made my move as easy as possible by allowing me to do most of my leasing online. They made sure I had everything I needed for my first night in my apartment after driving from texas the previous 2 days.Review from Apartments.com
