Out of date, management sucks, there is always an issue. Sewage backing up in the basement. Had no heat for over a month and was demanded rent. Old noisy appliances. Only been here a few months and want to MOVE

I have lived at Ivy Gates Apartments for over 6 years now and have just renewed my lease for another year. When I first moved in, I was in one of the smaller apartments... now I am in a 3 bedroom. Although it is an older community, for the cost, you get a lot of space. AND if you work for a preferred employer-- you get a discount on your rent!!! Other than moving to a larger unit, my rent has only been increased once since I have been here. The maintenance staff is courteous and professional. ...
When I call or stop by the office (have to make appointments now due to COVID)... but, I am always greeted by my name and Bernice is very helpful with any of my needs. The property overall is always kept clean. I had a few maintenance problems but it is addressed in a timely manner. I would recommend these apartments to any one looking for a nice place to live at reasonable rates.

I just moved in 2 weeks ago, and already I can tell i'm really going to love being here. The apartment homes are very spacious, and the staff is amazing! The area is well kept and clean, and the pool area is very relaxing. The location is perfect being just minutes from shopping areas, parks, Ft Lee Army base, and much more!
