An Absolute Nightmare

Prepare yourself to have the following in your apartment with you: hundreds of roaches, rats, snakes, and lizards, flooding from neighboring units leaking in, broken appliances, and more! All things i've dealt with in my time living here. And my neighbors all have the same complaints. Maintenance does nothing substantial. They put bandaids on severe issues because they are money hungry, selfish people.
They get a ton of negative reviews on Google and then they send in a ton of fake positive ...
ones to trick people. Maintenance staff does nothing. Management will not do anything about your issues, aside from keeping your security depot for being an inconvenience.
My family has been genuinely traumatized from living here.

Recently moved in to the Island shores and the staff was really helpful and patient with the whole process. My family was able to get set up with a lakeside view and the apartment has some really cool upgrades. We are close to the parks and turnpike. So far so good!!!!!!

This place is AWFUL. The staff is not helpful at all when it comes to maintenance requests which you will be making quite often. First off, no one EVER answers the phone or they just email you asking what the problem is. I had to physically go into the office only to find them all in the back laughing & chatting away. They told me property manager wasn’t there, but yet at the end of our convo, suddenly he comes out of hiding. He then refused to help me find a solution to the recurring problems I ...
have encountered here thus far...literally said “this convo is done” and went back into hiding.
This was regarding the A/C which never works and apparently you have to change the filter yourself. I have never heard of that or had to do that in any other building I’ve lived.
This place also HOARDS trash right by the entrance & exit!! Dumpster is ALWAYS overfilled, and people leave their trash on the pathway leading up to dumpster, on the grass, sidewalk, and even parking spaces surrounding!! Disgusting and the smell is PUTRID yet management refuses to take care of this. I’ve lived here since April, and there’s been NO change. We are now in December.
Also this place is infested with roaches!! I had to request they send an exterminator just a few days after I moved in! Roaches were all over the kitchen sink, bathroom, and bedroom. It was terrible but unfortunately I had already signed the lease! They tried to get me to wait a week for extermination and I said NO I’m not sleeping like this. So they sent someone the next morning. Again I have this problem and they are making me wait a whole WEEK for the exterminator. No one cares because they are not the ones that have to deal with this, they are just pocketing our money and chatting about nonsense in the back instead of actually helping people.
Do not move here. No security either; the front gate is always open and there’s tons of drug dealers here and sketchy characters. Everything is cheap too. Blinds always breaking. If you look carefully, most apartment windows have missing blinds and the office refuses to replace it. Yet they have it as an option under maintenance requests on the resident portal. I cannot wait to get out of here.

Make sure you read the reviews very very carefully . Their staff especially the guy up there has such a bad attitude . They will tell you they won’t rent out a place with things broken to you, but I have not even lived here 2 months , so you can’t tell me we broke the toilet seat(only 2 people use it) , and have broke at least 5 blinds. Lol . They are quick to point the fingers . This place is a whole joke .

Rude people work at the main office they are never helpful and act like they are entitled and own the place +Comon areas are full of dog poop nobody picks it up +noisey neighbors that will park in the middle of the street and play music out loud until 2am +requested repairs take at least a week and half to be looked into +their main gate is a giant joke.
