No communication
June 3, 2024We began our lease only a few months ago and have experienced nothing but frustration and an extremely unprofessenial and discourteous office staff. We have experienced frustration with such items as maintenance requests--we moved into our unit with chunky mildew in our washer. On top of that, the middle piece in the washer was actually broken with a sharp edge that snagged our first load of laundry. For two weeks there was no communication or update on this maintenance request. For two weeks we ...had our dog locked up in the bathroom hoping someone would come fix this. Two weeks of doing laundry elsewhere. Next on the list of unprofessionalism--we requested a second large storage unit. It was infested with mold and mildew so we were not able to utilize it. I informed staff immediately and was ghosted for 20 days. They had no problem charging us for a unit that we weren't using though. The only communication that happens between the office and tenants is when the tenant reaches out. After 20 days, we were told they were coting the unit and that should be done in a couple days. Two weeks later, we heard nothing. At that point we just decided we didn't want it. It's also worth noting that we signed a legal binding contract for a set price for our unit, then were over-charged for it. When we inquired about it, the office said 'it was made in a rush and we're human, it happens". Again, we said we want the medium unit instead. Now we've been ghosted again. This experience has been nothing but a disappointment.Property Manager Responded

Not safe for dogs
December 9, 2023The Jamison at Brier Creek is not a safe place for dogs. Some residents in the neighborhood will smoke and leave blunts near the playground and at the benches inside the dog park, which has led to my dog getting marijuana poisoning 3 times. The Jamison has emailed me saying they're sorry this has happened, but have not made any announcement or changes to address this.Property Manager Responded

June 22, 2022The staff is amazing. Very attentive and responsive. Maintenance staff is quick to respond in even non emergency situations. They leave the place cleaner than they found it. March 16, 2022Since the new company has taken over. We’ve been more pleased, but still skeptical. The Jamison has great roots that need to be watered. After all we did chose this place for a reason, however we were quickly dissapointed and felt like we got screwed by being roped into a lease here. We were even promised new carpet by the last company if we renewed our lease. Sadly with the new one, we get a carpet cleaning.. however, it’s nice to see the new company putting in a little bit more effortReview from Apartments.com

March 16, 2022I moved in here not expecting much from apartments, as I have lived in a few that left me with a slight bitter taste. I found the rent here almost too good to be true at first for what was seemingly offered; but it went above and beyond any expectations. My neighbors are kind, the office workers are so courteous and helpful, and maintenance always follows through as quickly as possible. Simply a pleasure living here. Overall it's a nice property, but every property has its flaws. Some are taken care of in a timely fashion others have to be requested multiple times,promised,and not followed through on.
