Bugs! Bugs!! Bugs!!!
July 25, 2025I only lived here for three months but the amount of roaches I saw was insane. Bugs were in the apartment the same day I moved in. And my car got towed even though my car details were on file. They literally ask for your car details the day you move in. Staff were incredible unhelpful about the situation. Please don’t inconvenience yourself by living here.Property Manager Responded

May 29, 2025Where should I begin? The management and office staff are often unhelpful and inconsiderate. They frequently turn off the water supply to the entire property for extended periods during the day, usually twice a month for over eight hours, without prior notice, citing "emergency repairs" that never seem to resolve the issues. There are persistent drainage problems, leaving around 15 parking spots unusable due to flooding every time it rains. Maintenance personnel sometimes enter apartments without ...knocking or leaving notification of completed work when residents are absent. Heavy rainfall results in leaks within my apartment, and the cause remains unaddressed by the staff. Many residents experience roach infestations, despite the presence of a pest control service. When the exterminator visits, they merely inspect the premises without applying any treatment. Additionally, waste disposal services are inconsistent; if trash is not set out well in advance, it will be overlooked, as collection times vary unpredictably instead of adhering to the stated 7 pm schedule in the move-in packet. Complaints about this to management are often met with dismissive attitudes, while the mandatory $30 monthly fee for the service continues to be charged.Property Manager Responded

Don’t rent this place
October 31, 2018I would give negative rating for this place, maintenance and staff. We regret that we have to be here for 12 more months. We found bed bugs after moving in and reported within 48 hours and they blame us for the issue. Regardless of the fact, they only follow what pest control has said. The apartment itself contained so many bed bugs, but the only thing management had to say is that according to the report there were no presence of bugs before we move in and found only after we move in. Though ...there was a three week gap between the inspections before our move in date. They simply can’t take the responsibility and only want to make their residents suffer and pay. Not even Westdale’s regional management. One of the male staff was so rude when I asked them to provide some kind of guarantee for the treatment that I pay for, then he started cross questioning me to give guarantee that I won’t carry any bed bugs to apartment, only because I refused to pay for the protective case that they put on my mattress without my knowledge or permission and made me pay $160 for that. No one likes to bring bugs to home and obviously will take extra care about that. I found it rude to talk to a customer who’s already had enough with them. Dishwasher was broken when we moved in, windows has molds, there weee paint stains on the floors and lot of pending works and it didn’t seemed to be a newly upgraded apartment because of the poor maintenance. See the pictures for move in condition of the apartment. We wanted to move out of the lease at first place but they did not allow us unless we pay the lease breakage and they warned us of issuing an eviction letter if we don’t pay the treatment charges. Ended up agreeing to pay all the charges without any fault from our end. Don’t come to this place unless you want to clean their mess and pay for it and wanted to get treated like crap. December 8, 2016Burglars are living in this property itself, Apartment maintenance guys are running a network. Do not take a risk. didn't seem quite move in ready
November 9, 2015Just moved in this past Saturday, turning in my initial move in detail sheet today. Had some issues with the apartment (didn't get to see it until move in; listing some issues below), I'll update after issues with the apartment are fixed, depending on how quickly these issues get resolved: - Dishwasher doesn't open all the way; hits the oven - Freshly painted cabinets in kitchen, but bottom storage units have big globules of paint on them; looks like a rush job, not very professional - Sink ...missing rubber flange on disposal side, left with an open hole - Appears to be water damage in shared bathroom around toilet where maybe a previous leak occurred - Patio storage does not unlock; key fits, but won't turn - Blinds in the living room appear to be broken - Living room window screen appears to be broken - Telephone jack for AT&T U-Verse internet in bedroom (not the master) does not work due to wiring issues (per AT&T internet technician) Hoping these get resolved quickly to give a 5 star rating!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Jefferson Place Apartments
September 20, 2015I moved to Jefferson Place Apartments 5 years ago and loved it. After about 3 years staying here, it seem as though management doesn't care, neighbors are rude and noisy, talk on their phones and smoke in the stairway, roaches are bad, trash every where, and Westdale keeps going up on the rent. Everytime you go to the office, there's a new face. I have got to find a better place to call home after 5 years, it's time to go.Review from Apartments.com
