Would not wish upon anybody
June 8, 2024I lived here when this building was still comprised of student dorms. There were some highlights- the view from the 10th floor was very nice, main room was quite spacious too. Good area. On the other hand, I and the many students who once resided here experienced a boatload of other problems. -Heating and cooling system is outdated, can only be switched to one or the other at a time for the entire building. Beginnings of weather changing meant the building would be sweltering hot, especially on ...floors higher up too. Expect cold during the fall as well. -Quite noisy. Bleed from other apartments/dorms was actually pretty fine, no issues there. The problem was from the hallways, noise would bleed through the front door a lot. The elevator chime could always be heard, along with any conversations happening in the hall. Being close to broad street and busy roads there was also quite a lot of outside noise, but that is to be expected from a place like this. -Floor plans are odd. The two bedroom apartment we (the four of us) lived in had very unequally sized bedrooms, one much smaller than the other. One long hallway going into the main room, and a hilariously massive bathroom. Be sure to clean the bathroom often. Lots of surface area. -If anything is to be carried over from the dorm days, expect painted over outlets and ports of which some might not function, windows that will fall off their slots if they aren't already bolted shut, occasional leaks from years of poorly maintained bathroom appliances, outdated appliances, closet doors falling off their hinges, or hauntings from the tormented souls of angry college kids who couldn't get their degrees. I would hope any refurbishing would solve at least some of these issues.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on scale of 1 (below average) and to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider needs as part of the school selection process.
