they've been built and have dark brown carpeting. There is not AC in my unit but the breezes on my higher floor make up for this. An ac unit can be added and other units come with AC. The price for rental has gone up to $1,600 to $1,700 on average from around $1,200 when I first moved in. I believe this is due to all units nearby going up in price and seems appropriate that this building has kept up with the market. As long as the unit you are choosing has been updated, this price point seems very reasonable given the current market. The other tenants are mostly older, mature, and quiet. The security is fairly good and the building is secure. There is a pool and picnic area on the top floor with no grills. Right across the street from 24 fitness and Don quijote which is also open 24 hours. It is a short walk from Waikiki but without all the craziness that Waikiki has to offer. Overall the building is a bit older but in decent shape and I would recommend this building to any single individual or couple willing to live a smaller apartment but in a nicer building located right next to all the action.
