Don't do it
August 18, 2025Is this how CAPREIT, Inc. treats tenants? July 2nd my car was hit by maintenance and this is unacceptable response to the situation. 60 days to wait for insurance company information?! Besides that I cant get repairs done for months while my livingroom floods everytime it rains. Overcharge on rent portal account that isn't put in when rent is paid. To pay rent now I must pay charges twice? Pest control I pay for that never comes. Pool that isn't ever open and a gated community with no gate ever?! ...Please help us tenants here in Kenridge apartments. Idk who it is renting the apartment above me to the left 1230 like it's an air bnb to people. Undesired ppl who are letting the dog poop in front of my door. Their disruptive and disrespectful to the elderly and other renting tenants. Its listed online and as I signed a lease agreement and this isn't an air bnb residency. Don't do it!!
August 1, 2024The rent office doesn't do anything!! My ceiling leaked for over a month. I have mold in my unit, they refuse to give me a new unit. They don't always pick up your trash. It's always a fight in the apartment no security. It's over priced. The pictures you see is just the showing unit. They are horrible!!! They evicted the noisy neighbors but didn't change the locks so they are back living in the apartment.Property Manager Responded

Do not move here!
December 12, 2022My a/C, heat has been non existent. Call the office daily to speak to the manager, she never available. Call maintenance it takes you to an emergency line during normal business hours. My car was stolen and the manager never gave camera footage to my insurance company. Heed the other reviews, you will definitely regret the decision if you move here.Property Manager Responded

Love where I live
January 16, 2022Hello, I been a tenant over here for 8 years, I love the location of my apartment is close to the stores, highway, schools, malls, but most importantly for me is very close to Dekalb Police Department. Every apartments that I have live in Dekalb I have to say Kenridge has this low tolerance for endangering there tenets, might I add all landlord do not pay attention to there tenants but Mr. Ron he listen and do his best to comply. Great Apartments
July 31, 2019I have live at Kenridge Apts for over 3 years and the complex has improved tremendously over the past few months. It is under new management and they have an awesome staff as well. This complex is veteran friendly and safe. The Marta bus line is right outside the complex and Indian Creek Train Station is less than a mile away. Disgusting
October 3, 2016I am just disgusted with this apartment complex period. I moved here July 18th 2016. It was a rush thing but lord knows I wish I could turn back the hands of time. The cabinet wood is rotten. You can actually see under the floor because the wood rotten off. I had mold in my house. The property "manager" came in looked at it and walked out. They told me as a resolution to keep my AC on all day as if they paying my utility bill. I had a leak in my bathroom since the day I moved in, today is October ...3rd and it's just being fixed after months of complaining. I had roaches in my apartment from day one as well. Exterminator came and to me it got worst. I bought a bunch of boric acid and other products and treated it myself. The maintenance people do not come right away. You have to be like a pest to get them to do things. I wonder if I paid my rent late if they would understand my anger more? It sucks when you pay your rent on time and have to wait months for maintenance. I have asthma so I should've never been in a house with mold. Like how the heck do you move someone into a apartment with rotten wood cabinets? Shouldn't stuff be brand new? The tub was resurfaced "allegedly" but after almost three months it's peeling and the old people dirt is showing. I use Tilex and a regular washrag to clean my tub. That is nothing that can scrape it but yet it's peeling. These people are freaking disgusting and could careless how you live. Some of the neighbors are ratchet. Baby daddy and baby momma arguing loud at night in the street. People banging on doors late at night. Blasting music crazy hours at night. Stop to smell the roses
October 10, 2015When it was time to move in, the assigned apartment was not ready. I had to leave, return and the apartment was still not ready to move in after days of waiting. After I was told the apartment was ready, we did the walk-thru, the apartment was unacceptable. There were issues still needed to be addressed, however, the manager went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of so I can move-in, but had to wait an additional day. Added benefit my apartment has all new appliances, counter ...tops and A/C unit. The 1 bedrooms are small but quaint. The gated access is a plus. There is an administrative fee of $100 along with the application fee of $35 which are non-refundable. If you decide to withdraw the application after you made the deposit you forfeit all monies. (Read all documents carefully before you sign). Water is not free, its added to the rent at $35, rent $550. There is no laundry facility in the complex although one appears in the photos (Washer and dryer connections in units). To-date Comcast and AT&T does not service the area for cable and internet. I am using my mobile phone provider Hotspot service to access the internet. Comcast maybe available in November 2015 as stated by the Leasing Office. Dish provides services but at a 2year contract (no thanks). Lots of kids and teenagers around. September 16, 2015This apartment complex is the worst. They will show a nice apartment. And move in a dump. People hang out all kinds of night smoking and drinking.
