Nice Apartments, Poorly Run
April 14, 2017There's a lot to like about the apartments themselves. The neighborhood is cute and quiet, and while the building itself is quite old and the units could do with some updates and help with mold problems, it's not bad for the price. I will say that there is no water pressure out of any of the fixtures and that the walls (including the outdoor-facing ones) are paper thin, so you will hear everything from your neighbors and the insulation is pretty bad in the winter. What is most atrocious about ...this apartment however is the management. Routinely notices are put up with that are downright unprofessional- poorly written, typo-ridden, and downright condescending in tone and language. Don't expect a prompt response to any concerns brought up- and if you do get a response, don't expect it to be helpful!Property Manager Responded

I beg of you to reconsider.
August 8, 2016I've never been more excited to move out of a unit in my life, including 5 cities and 8 total apartments ranging in prices and spacing (this was neither the cheapest nor smallest I've lived in, but I loathed it the most). Just a handful of experiences I've had at this building in the past year: - My biggest gripe with the building is the shower. You will honestly have a better shower experience by getting some bottled waters and pouring them over your head, rather than relying on the showerheads ...here, which have the weakest flow I've personally ever seen. I feel humiliated more than clean after showering here. The flow is so weak, if you turn on both hot cold to their full rotation, you will have *scathingly* cold water coming to you at sorta-full blast. Hot or warm water at a decent flow? Not once in 365 days as a resident. I spoke to other residents and they had similar experiences. I have experimented with showering at off-peak hours (before 7am or late at night, for example) and this only occasionally provides a marginally better experience. My boss thinks I'm a great employee for showing up so early, but it's honestly because my shower experience is 3% better if I shower very early in the morning. It's just always, always bad. Anytime I went on vacation this past year I showered like 3x a day just because it felt nice to be clean for once. - Your counter space is about 2.5ft by 3ft if that, essentially room for one plate, maybe a glass too. Have fun trying to make full meals! - The bathroom space in my studio is all around much too cramped. If you lean slightly forward while sitting down on the toilet, your head will hit the sink in front of you. Claustrophobic to say the least. - Thin walls. Hope you find interest in your neighbor's conversations extending late at night or the building next door with a family cooking a nice, smelly BBQ that you'd never be able to fit in your kitchen, even if it was tripled in counter space. - Recently the front door to the building was locked from the outside one morning. I've been locked out of buildings before, but never locked *in*. Ridiculous. I had to exit through the back door which is constantly found unlocked. Not propped open, unlocked. Honestly, pay $200 more a month somewhere and you'll have a decent shower, a quiet night's sleep, room to cook a meal, and hallways that don't smell like dog droppings and/or cigarettes. But yeah, great location - at the top of the steepest hill in Seattle.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Quiet and Convenient
July 21, 2015Great location for being in Queen Anne. Just a few blocks from Kerry Park and an amazing few, and within sniffing distance of Molly Moons and Via Tribunali. The #2 and 29 buses are half a block away so commuting downtown was super easy. You also have Trader Joe's and Safeway just a few blocks up on Queen Anne Ave. Lovely neighborhood for a suburban feel. Building is a little old and my studio was a bit run down, but the building manager is quick and polite about fixing things. Plumbing probably ...needs to be updated, as the toilet tank was slow to fill up and my shower occasionally backed-up. Tenants are quiet and keep mostly to themselves, but are friendly enough to say hello in passing. Overall my experience here was a positive one!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Meh
July 21, 2015Kerry Park Apartments has been my abode for the last year and a half. It's located in a great neighborhood, Queen Anne, but the apartment building itself is quite old and in need of updates. The walls are paper thin so hopefully you like your neighbors because you'll know pretty much everything about them. My particular studio is less than 300sq ft. suffice it to say I haven't been throwing any dinner parties as of late.Review from Apartments.com
