About King Lofts

King Lofts is located in the historic Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee Wisconsin at 2534 South Kinnickinnic Avenue. The building was originally built as a Chevrolet dealership in 1929. The exterior was designed in the popular Mediterranean style of the day. The front portion of the building was the showroom and the parts department, the rear was the service garage and the lower level was the parking lot. Through the years there were many dealerships in the building however the most popular was Jim King Chevrolet from 1948-51. After many different owners and uses the property was adorned with the name The King Building in 1992. SG Property Development purchased the building in 2014 and in 2016 opened the King Lofts. The King Lofts is a collection of 9 Luxury Residences located on the upper level, 5 Live/Work Units located on the back of the ground level and 2 gorgeous Commercial Storefronts located on busy Kinnickinnic Avenue.
