Units have Electric Range/ Refrigerator and Central Heat and Air. There is a on-site Laundry Room,your Water and Trash are Furnished. Electric has to be in your name. Apartments are smoke free. We are now a pet friendly community. Now your pet has the opportunity to relax by your side and enjoy the comforts of your new apartment. For further details on our pet policy and fees, please contact the office. You will have a courteous and professional management to handle all your apartment needs. The Parks and Recreation center, located less than a mile from our apartments, offers basketball courts, racquetball court, fitness room, game room, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, pavilion, and many other amenities.     I have been here with my family for 2 years. Didnt really care much for it when i first moved here. It went under new ownership during my first lease. Property manager Melissa is very nice and helpful. I see her working many hours to try and find resources to improve this complex and make tenants as comfortable as possible.     We moved in on September 1st and it has been an OK experience. There are mice and it seems like no matter what you do they keep multiplying. The apartments are fairly nice on the inside but they could use a little patchwork on the walls due to holes. There is a noise rule, but most tenants will not follow this rule and it keeps us up at night into the early hours of the morning. Small children are suppose to play in the designated areas during the day but most are unattended and run into the ...
    paved areas and play around vehicles, stopped and moving which is dangerous. There needs to be working dryers that you didn't have to pay to use. I end up having to dry my laundry twice due to them still being wet. Also, the stairs going to the second floor are not covered to keep you from the weather on the second building and it is not lit up at night, which makes us feel unsafe. Last thing, I feel as if the amount of rent and pet fees are a little overrated considering all of the extras that the tenants have to pay for; especially laundry, electric, internet, and cable. Overall, my Fiancee and I have had a somewhat tolerable time here but there could be some major changes.

    Kirklin Heights wants to extend our sincerest apologies corcerning all the issues that you have faced or have been witnessed to. Our Units are about 833 Sq.Ft. we have them listed as such when we advertise them. Kirklin Heights has been under new ownership since June 2017. We have and will continue to improve our community. We now require a background check for new tenants and have a manager and maintenance man on the grounds. Thank you for taken the time to give us a review.
