A dangerous slum to live at.
July 3, 2023There was a shooting that occurred at my building the first month of moving me in. Multiple shots went into the first floor units, as well as a car that was damaged. Shots went through windows and glass screen doors into peoples living rooms. A week after the shooting someone tried to break into my apartment while my son was home. It took them a month to fix my washer machine when I first moved in but I still had to pay washer and drier rent. The place is infested with water flys. I wasn’t ...even living in my apartment the first month so no food or nothing dirty was left out. It just came infested. You can never get ahold of the front office. I was charged for renters insurance after emailing them proof I had my own. There is constant late night activity. The whole place smells like weed 24/7. The pool has been closed off since I moved in 2 months ago. I’m still waiting on maintenance to fix issues I reported when I first moved in 2 months agoProperty Manager Responded

Office Staff is Absolutely Horrid
March 3, 2022The complex is beautiful, and the maintenance staff are always friendly and efficient, but the office staff is the worst I have ever dealt with. It seems like they all hate their lives and are determined to make everyone else miserable. They have gone through a ton of staff members in the past year that I have lived here but Nellie, who's the worst, just keeps sticking around. I'm sure it's no one's dream to work in an apartment complex but jesus you could act like you're here to assist us ...rather than be incredibly rude every time someone walks into the office.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

May 10, 2021Horrible place to live When it rains, there is a giant lake you have to drive through to get out. (Maybe that’s why it’s called Lake Forest?) March 22, 2021When you first meet these people everything is great, then once you sign that lease that’s like somebody flipped the light switch in all the bugs came out. they don’t have access to washers and dryer‘s for in unit use because they’re on “back order” since March of last year(2020). The maintenance staff sucks. they practically don’t fix anything and good luck getting your work order done, I’ve had one in since October 2020 that’s still has yet to be fixed. Horrible!
December 8, 2018Management locks the doors during regular business hours, 3 of the 4 months I've lived here the doors have been locked when I went to pay rent. There's no drop box. Now they've limited the hours that tenants can pick up their packages to 1.5 hours per day. So today I waited at home until that time then went to pick up my package and as usual they were locked up closed until Monday. Walls are paper thin. I can literally hear my upstairs neighbors pee.
