Worst Move Out Experience
March 21, 2020They attempted to charge us $1000 over the security deposit to replace a carpet "stained by pets" which we don't own. Spent weeks disputing their false claim to the point of seeking legal counsel. Rent with caution, there are plenty of nice places to live in the area without dealing with this.Review from Apartments.com

Great place to live in C'ville!
June 7, 2016I've been living at Lakeside for two years now, and it's my favorite place I've ever lived. The management team keeps up with the property so well. They're always cleaning, mowing, fixing things. Any time I've had a maintenance request, people are there the same day to fix it. I love the gym, movie theater, pool -- and the lake! But the best part about it is how convenient it is to the downtown mall, where I work. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get downtown - less than 5 when there's no ...traffic! And with the new Wegman's and Fifth Street Station going in practically next door, there will be plenty of shopping and dining options close by. Excellent apartment in cville
September 21, 2015I have really loved living at lakeside the past 2 years. Very spacious, affordable, and quiet. The pool, hot tub, and fitness center are great amenities. When things have malfunctioned (ie: AC) maintenance staff have been out the same day to fix problems. Easy commute to anywhere in cville. Great place to live!
August 18, 2015I have been living at Lakeside for over a year. The amenities are fantastic, management is friendly, and the maintenance staff is quick to respond. It is a 15 min or so drive from UVA and the shopping and restaurants on the north end of town, which some may find inconvenient. It is very easy to access the downtown mall though, and there is a nice walking trail to Monticello close by. Would recommend this apartment to anyone!Review from Apartments.com
