I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this apartment community was extremely disappointing from move-in to move-out.
When I moved in, there were several maintenance issues that were never properly addressed. The flooring was already peeling, there was damage to the door, and damage in the garage. I was simply told to note these issues on my move-in inspection sheet rather than having them repaired. Throughout my residency, I also dealt with a leaking dishwasher, leaking sink, and ...
other water-related maintenance concerns that were either poorly repaired or not fully resolved.
Communication with management was another major issue. Emails often went unanswered, and it was difficult to get responses from the office when concerns were raised.
The most frustrating part came after move-out. I left the apartment in excellent condition, aside from normal wear and tear, and even provided photos documenting the condition of the unit. Despite this, I was not refunded my full security deposit. After multiple attempts to discuss the charges, I received very little communication. At one point, the Assistant Property Manager agreed to refund an additional $100, only to later send another email stating that upper management had denied it and that there was nothing more they would do.
Overall, the lack of maintenance, poor communication, and handling of my security deposit left a very negative impression. I would not recommend this property based on my experience.

New management is horrible, residents are at pool all hours of the night, lots of noise issues/complaints, people smoking weed, blasting music, roaches, garbage always full, no regular landscapers.

There is an ongoing issue with children playing in the breezeway area near Building 10 (and all buildings around that area) that management has not yet addressed to resolution. The breezeway, which is a grassy space between buildings, is frequently used as a play area /park for activities such as football, soccer, kickball, and other ball games. I’ve gotten my windows , doors, and railings on my patio pelted by balls. It’s very unsettling. Because many bedrooms face this area, the noise can be ...
disruptive for residents seeking a quiet living environment. Additionally, the walls are thin, and sound tends to carry easily between units.
On a positive note, the buildings are newer, and the air quality is good, with no noticeable issues related to mold.
The gym facilities are nice too but overall, this is not a fit for those who highly value peace and quiet in their living space.

So far so good! Close to completing my first week here and it’s been great. My partner and I love the apartment and can’t wait to use the amenities. Staff at front is friendly. The only thing that is kinda iffy is some of the tenants. Within these 5 days we’ve gotten passive aggressive drive-by comments while moving in and whatnot. Not sure if that is even something to control, but that’s been a bit irritating. Other than that, we have been enjoying Lakeside!
