It used to be nice. Not now
August 31, 2020It was nice at first, now it's as if I'm invisible as far as getting repairs done in apt. I have had several work requests deleted because I want the light socket repaired in the fridge. Now my remote opens another person's garage. I have put in 2 complaints, and nothing has been done to correct it. And yes their remote opens my garage also. Now rusty things have fallen off the kitchen sink, but if it is not an "emergency" in their eyes nothing will be done. October 19, 2016Don't do it! I've had black mold in my walls for over 4 months and they are just now coming to do something about it. I've gotten sick, rent is steadily going up and getting higher , and appliances are just getting upgraded. Please do yourself a favor and stay away. Glad to be gone
October 3, 2015Apartment is not efficient. Appliances are very old. Frig didn't seal properly so it constantly ran running up the electric bill. Washer and dryer were rusted, seals around doors are worn out so your ac goes out around the doors. The manager and her staff are not organized, some are rude, not helpful when you have issues. We rented in December for a February move in and when we arrived at the apartment it wasn't cleaned or carpets shampood. We had 3 trucks ready to unload and had to wait till ...they completed the apartment. They didn't touch up the walls or do any repairs. When I put in the work order it took 3 times going to the office to get a maintenance man to come out. He couldn't even fix half the list. If you value honesty and a nice affordable place to live this place is not for you. I could write a book on issues with this place and the office staff, especially the manager but I think you get how bad this place is by what I have wrote.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Ella Boulevard Fever
July 25, 2015After being in a motel for a month an a half. We finally found a place that was so so,not realizing the appliances was from 1980's. We were dealing with a refrigerator that had dents on it and was white with a black handle. Who does that!!!. The dishwasher had rust all the way through and had black tape holding the sides together. The 1980's washer and dryer was so old and small we made them haul that out . Which had the tile floor brown from rust and old water sitting for soooo long. My ...husband took out part of the floor that was horrendous!!! The ac vent in the living room was rigged by the maintenance man so the Ac flow was more upstairs in the kids room than down stairs. Now the vent is barely hanging from the sheet rock. Through out our stay we complain about something...the traffic noise, it sounds like a car,truck or bus what have you. Is coming right through our windows. It's pretty scary! The water leaking in a few windows and leaving mold after a heavy rain. Leaking in the bathroom from the Ac unit. Upstairs in the one of my boys room.. I ..I... thank God was playing and crawling on the floor with the kids and landed on a short nail or a tack ... TWICE ..!!!! In two different areas of the same room. I took a picture of it and sent it to them. The place is very spacey and thats the only good thing i can really say. It's just made cheep, and the rent is ridiculous for what you're getting. Horrible Staff, stay away!!!!
August 6, 2014The apartments are nice but that's it. The management team is the worst I have ever seen. I have never paid my rent late or had any complaints. They are rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. I recently excepted a position in Chicago and I was told multiple different things on subleasing my apartment by different members of the staff. Finally I had to find my own subleaser and pay a $500 fee to sublease. I will never recommend Lakeview apartments to anyoneReview from Apartments.com
