Awful Owner & Upper Management

The owners and upper management are completely fixated on making profit and actively do not care about the property or the tenants. They do not maintain general quality maintenance or cleanliness, they refuse to communicate respectfully and timely (if at all) with their tenants regarding any questions raised regarding maintenance, amenities or their lack of consistently regarding their support of policies that they randomly allow new superintendents to put in place at their will (we've had 4 new ...
couples of superintendents in under one year). It is obvious that they hire from the family of the owner to do work in the building. Even when the city demands they get up to code, they do not do so in any timely fashion. They refuse to fix the exterior of the building (which is crumbling down - a building they deam as a "luxury apartment"). This is probably due to the fact that many things would have to be brought up to code, especially mobility access, which they clearly are unwilling to spend money on. They only "upgrade" units (cheaply at that), so that they can flip them for a much higher rate as they're trying their hardest to get the older tenants out of the building in order to maximize rent. They refuse to allow the pool, which tenants pay for, to be open for more than 2 months in the summer (though it's typically not even open that long). Almost all units had serious ant infestations for two years because they made huge holes in our walls to put in new AC/hearing units. People lost electronics to them and has to deal with the problem largely by ourselves. Basically, they are complete and utter scum owners and landlords.

This building is infested with roaches and ants. The ants live in the pipes. The plumbing is a mess, the pipes make constant noise and occasionally burst. The pool is neglected every summer and turns into a green swamp. The owner hires the cheapest contractor option for any repairs or upgrades and the job inevitably is done shoddily and often causes additional problems.
