Awesome Place to Live!
October 24, 2022Awesome place to live! I have been a very happy resident of Lakewood Colony Apartments for almost a year now, and I am so glad I found this great place to live. The apartments are spacious, the residents are all friendly, and most importantly to me it’s QUIET! The property is upkept impeccably. The manager, Sabino, is wonderful to deal with. Always friendly and responsive, I have never had a better apartment manager. The maintenance person, Victor, is fast to respond, thorough and great at ...what he does which he always does with a smile. Worse apartments I've ever lived at.
July 29, 2020Don't move here unless you have no other choice. I've lived in a few apartment buildings and this one had the fewest features and the worse management and security of all of them. My car was broken into multiple times (while inside the gated tenant parking lot!) Many of my neighbors had their cars broken into while parked inside as well. Management knows how these people are getting in, but they aren't doing anything to remedy the situation. The walls are also paper thin, so you can hear ...everything. especially in the one bedroom apartments. Since the new manager Sabino took over this place has gone down hill. He jacked the rent up as high as he legally could, but didn't do anything to improve the grounds or the facilities. Management will do everything they can to squeeze every penny out of their tenants, without providing anything extra. They do not care about their tenants at all. There are plenty of other apartments in the area, which I would recommend looking at instead.Property Manager Responded
August 6, 2020Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. It was an uncommon instance and we’ll do better. Unfortunately, we aren't able to keep all break-ins from happening, but we do try our best. We recently added a state of the art video monitoring app for our entry gates that our residents can use on their smartphones to make sure only welcomed guests are admitted to the community. We've also built up our perimeter walls, which has prevented intruders from hopping over into our parking lot as well as adding to our surveillance cameras. We do care very much about our residents safety, and I apologize that we missed the mark in communicating this to you. Also, we have been upgrading the apartments over the last year with improvements such as plank flooring, recessed lighting, new stainless steel appliances, bathroom renovations, modern doors, and more. We will continue to try to bring the benefits our residents care about to the community. ...Please feel free reach out to with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. RUDE!
July 13, 2019I have been calling about the two bedroom apartment and Crystal the manager never picks up the phone or return calls. So, I went there and got her on the intercom, she's yelling that she can't hear me but made no effort to come to the gate to speak to me about the apartment. YOU ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL CRYSTAL, you have a job at least do it right, there are many people losing their Jobs these days and you have one and is totally inept.Review from Apartments.com
