My appointment wasn't in good shape when I got in.
December 4, 2025Staff are welcoming, good services offer especially Alex. She is a sweet soul and easily to talk to and fluent in communication and she equally made sure our move-in was smooth. But I wasn't pleased with what I saw, when I got into my appointment no basic cleaning was done to ensure the place to look pleasant to human eyes. Everywhere was unkept, it seem nothing was changed after the last person left. Dirty and old walls at the balcony,No lights fixtures in the bathrooms and living room, old ...and crooked woods, and the toilet pot wasn't in a good shape too. May 29, 2018Yes, I would certainly recommend The Lane to family and friends. I am a senior who moved to The Lane in 2008. At the time of my move, the complex was managed by another property management company. I was very pleased with the original management team. November 17, 2016, tenants received notice that Pegasus Residential was now assuming management of The Lane. The management team is outstanding. They respond immediately to any e-mail I send. The manager responds to my messages ...personally. Managment is very attentive. If it was not for this management team and, maintenance staff, I would be unable to continue my current life of independent living. Lane Maintenance staff is incredible. I cannot say enough regarding maintenance and the high regard I hold for each of them. They are always prompt and 99.9% of the time, the job is done right the first time. There are maintenance members who take the time to explain to you what went wrong, resulting in your possibly heading off a future repeat of a problem. Each member is friendly, courteous and, very respectful. I trust each member of the maintenance staff. The entire complex is in the process of renovation - top job; first class workmanship. Safety: Thus far, I feel relatively safe here. I do maintain my vigilance and take nothing for granted. No one is guaranteed safety anywhere in the world in which we live today. Handicapped: There is an abundance of handicapped parking, along with ramps at many locations. Landscaping: Receives constant care; there is a staff member who makes daily rounds through the complex picking up trash. Pools: Are kept pristine. Pets: Cats and Dogs are accepted, of all sizes and shapes. They do have pet guidelines and, a monthly pet fee which I feel is fair and reasonable. Note your deposit fees along with the monthly pet fee. Noise: I can't comment for those who live on the north, I-30 side. I am very close but, I am not even aware of traffic noise. There are occassional "Peacocks" coming and going with the party music playing loudly from their cars. This is usually very brief. We have easy access to our own restaurant row, Kroger, Aldi, Big Lots and, a full-service post office. Come take a look. Decent but could be better.
August 27, 2015The Lane at Towne Crossing Apartments are okay, but they are pricey. Beware what they say is the rent price is only the base, they also add on water, cable, pest control, and trash fees, you rent statement will probably be $50 to $100 more.Some of the apartments are updated and some of them are not, make sure that you see the apartment before you put a deposit down. The apartment we saw was way more upgraded than the one we actually rented, (the bait and switch). The community is pretty ...peacefully, even near the main street where all the restaurant are, it's not so bad with the noise. They always have something going on in the office, free food and snacks, even a couple of times during the year they hand out free breakfast near the entrance/exits. The current office staff is pretty nice. There have been a few car breakins, but that will happen just about anywhere, and every now and there you may see a supicious person or two walking throughout the property, but again that will happen anywhere. The maintenience guys usually respond to calls pretty quickly, and usually do a good job. I think out of my 2-1/2 years of residence here, I have only had one time where I called for an issuse and they never showed up, but every other time they showed up within a couple of hours. The only thing I dont like about maintence is that they are very quick to still the key in the door after they knock... Dude give me a second to respond, especially if I'm running from the back room... Overall, it's in a decent area, you have several restaurants in walking distance, a grocery store around the corner, the mall is 4 minutes away, and the movie theater is about 10 minutes aways.
