Mesquite was established on March 14, 1878, near the Texas & Pacific Railroad which connected Dallas with Shreveport in Louisiana. The Mesquite Metro Airport serves the air transport needs of the residents. Other airports are available within a 30-mile radius in the surrounding areas. Movement within the city is mainly by car, but residents can walk or ride to their destinations. The authorities have developed infrastructure to ensure safety for people living in Mesquite apartments.
Mesquite has a good connection of highways that improve transportation. Three interstate highways namely 20, 30, and 635, US Highway 80, and Texas State Highway 352 serve the city. The Valley Creek Park is a small man-made park where people go for fishing. The over 80 acres of land provide a perfect place for people to hold picnics and other family or individual outdoor activities. In the area close to the city are grounds where people take vacations. The Texas Hill Country is a major attraction due to its scenic beauty.
The most popular Mesquite apartments are the ones close to the city center. Tripp Rd., N. Galloway Ave. and Avis St are some of the most popular neighborhoods. These locations are preferred due to their proximity to the city center. However, any other place in Mesquite is ideal for settlement. The houses are comfortable, and the means of transport to the city center are very efficient. You can drive, ride or even walk comfortably around the city.
