Horrible Management / Incredibly Unsafe

I have lived in this building for nearly two years. Upon moving in to the building the landlord had said there was a hot tub on the roof. in the time that I have lived in the building the hot tub has never worked. One night when I went on to the roof I found a homeless man who had snuck in to the building, peeing in to the hot tub. The building claims to have security but it does not have a camera at the buildings front doors. This has enabled people to walk in to our building, take the elevator, ...

and steal multiple cars. Lastly, the AC unit for our apartment broke. Whenever we would turn on the air, hot air would come out. I called Nora, the landlord, to fix it. Nora did not return my calls for weeks. I had to go to her apartment every night after work (she is never around on the weekends) and ring the doorbell insistently until I could get an answer from her face to face. It took over two months for the problem to be resolved. Why, you may ask, have I stayed here for so long. Well up until this point rent was extremely reasonable and affordable. This past month the landlords have raised the rent by nearly $400. When multiple tenants complained the landlord posted signs all over the building, essentially, saying pay or get out. I've made the decision to get out. to anyone looking to move here, I would not recommend looking elsewhere.

Loft Apartments with Enviable LA Location

Modern apartment in the HEART of the city, between Sunset & Hollywood Blvd! It's a 2-5 min walk to the Walk of Fame, Hollywood/Highland, Theaters & great shopping/nightlife/restaurants. Love that it's located in a fun and lively area central to all of LA, but that it still has that neighborhood vibe. The building itself is a bit old, but the unit is newly renovated and has a winding staircase that rivals an NYC loft.
