High priced jail like box
June 15, 2019I went to view some studios (or should I say boxes) and I was appalled on how small they are. When I say small, it’s SMALL. Never in my life have I seen anything like it. I can’t believe a place like this existed. Never have I stepped foot inside a jail but based from what I’ve seen on tv, a jail cell is the same size as these studios (boxes) or probably a jail cell is bigger than these. You basically can fit a full size bed and it would take up the whole studio with barely any room to walk ...around the bed. The kitchen is tiny and not separated so your bed would be 1 foot away from the stove and fridge. You can literally sit on your bed and cook from your bed. That’s how small the boxes are. The lady gave me a tour & showed 3 different studios (boxes) and they were all the same size which made me feel so bad for the individuals that currently live there . The rent is high for a tiny box. You’re better off renting a friends living room and sleeping on their couch. The building is really old and there’s all kinds of smells in the hallways. This is the place to go when you hit rock bottom and if you haven’t hit rock bottom this place would for sure make anyone feel deeply miserable and question life and humanity.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
When there is no other choice
September 10, 2015This place is below a cesspool of fecal matter. This is where you go when you basically hit rock bottom. There is no AC, roaches, grout that turns black everyday in the bathrooms, and rent goes up more often than muc much better appartments. You are better of at a friends house (in their garage). September 4, 2015The Harvey Apartments is the best place for a first apartment. It is close to downtown, the center of Hollywood, and you can get on the bus to Santa Monica right outside. It has a parking lot, laundry facilities, and the best view from the roof. The best part is the murals of the Beatles covering the west side of the building. The second best part is that it is very affordable and in a safe area.Review from Apartments.com

September 4, 2015I love it here. My husband, newborn and I stay in these cozy and spacious studio apartments. My husband's elderly client passed passed away yesterday and an opportunity to live rent free would be a blessing.Review from Apartments.com
