hard-working, respectful, diverse working class neighbors, and Las Colinas could seem like a real hidden find of affordable L.A. Life. Two big problems: one can be easily judged and sized up with simple stats & a walk thru: many units very inconveniently offer only one full bathroom, tub/shower layout, all in one spot, upstairs and with poor water pressure crowded, decaying layout and decrepit fixtures that management seemingly refuses by default to ever replace with new equipment. This shortchange offers only barely functioning, rusting, marginally health standards quality repairs and shoddy,often incomplete "maintenence" By the antaganistic, poorly qualified on-site "super" (tragicallymislabeled here) so completely hostile to performing the maintenence role his job requires, turnover remains high, ratings low at the otherwise well-manucured, sparse outfit.

maintenance requests, or just generic questions, they like to check in and make sure everything is good, and they make the rent paying part as painless as possible (if forking over hundreds of dollars can be painless...). There's always plenty of parking, and it's not uncommon for one of the neighbors to have the BBQ out. Nestled on one side of Lomita, it's in a perfect spot for early morning or late night walks through the neighborhood to get some fresh air and sun. I hope I can stay here for some time.
