Horrible Place.
March 3, 2023This apartment complex has so many issues, starting with management no one will ever answer the phone, they lock the lease building in the middle of the day nowhere to be found, bugs and mold are throughout the apartment.Property Manager Responded

Great location but quite expensive
August 5, 2021When you first move into this place it's excellent but what's very tricky is when you sign that lease on the 2nd year. My rent triple by $250. I thought the water, pest and valet trash was included in the rent. No that's not the case. They charge those item separate. Sad part, You pay for these people to come around and pick up the trash and they take it to the apartment garbage disposable. The same thing you can do by driving your own trash to the garbage area. Imagine how I felt when I ...saw this, If you guest mad. You're right. I'm just saying be careful on that lease renewal. But other than that it's located near the River crossing mall. Not bad, but not great either.
August 28, 2018Apartments are being upgraded and maintenance is pretty on top of everything. It was nice to get complimentary upgraded flooring after living in a pretty outdated apartment when we first moved in. But after our last year there, we were in a bind with one of our pets and were issued an ultimatum - a dog that we had was quite leash reactive and loud - not violent or an attack dog, but very prone to barking. We were willing to work with management and any residents with issues, but the damage was ...done (especially with a resident who was very "in" with the staff at the office and demanding) and even though we were tenants that paid rent on time and were mostly satisfied with our place, we were given an ultimatum - he goes or we all go. So we chose to go. Please don't advertise pet friendly if you are not pet friendly. And don't go after one resident if you aren't going to issue a statement to all residents with pets. Some honesty!
June 26, 2017As an active duty service member transitioning to a reservist when procuring this apartment, I had a forgivable difficult time with the leasing process. I could not physically be present to sign, which is normal with the military, but the troubles persisted even with a power of attorney appointed and present to complete the process. The worst ordeal was having my power of attorney accused of turning the air on for an apartment at which I would not be present for a period of 2 weeks. When an agent ...in the leasing office was questioned about this, she admitted that they had likely turned it on for the walk-through and chuckled, "that's your responsibility now!" Legacy At River Crossing
July 27, 2015Legacy is located in a very nice part of town, close to shopping and restaurants.... Literally right across the street. The only down side, they won't pressure wash or clean the breezeway. We have filed complaints and they still have yet to clean it. There are spider webs and creatures everywhere. All over the staircase and walls its just ewww! I have to run up and down the stairs just to make sure nothing falls, or crawls on me. One of the Best
August 25, 2015If you like quiet, a great office staff, and easy parking then this is the apartment for you. Maintenance staff is also very good and quick to respond to any inquiries. The complex itself stays very clean and Ive been here 2 years and haven't had any neighbor problems. The one downside I would say to the complex is that it is older than most in Macon. No ceiling fans in the living room/light. Slightly smaller floor plans than most newer complexes. Other than that this place has been great!Review from Apartments.com

July 24, 2015To me, management is what absolutely makes an apartment complex and Legacy at River Crossing's management is the best. They are so helpful, so sweet, and most importantly they pay attention to you as a person. For example, during teacher appreciation week they put together a little something for all of their teacher residents. This was such a sweet surprise to come home to! The grounds are always well kept. My neighbors are quiet and courteous, and most of all, the rent is affordable.
