Super Convenient Apartments Right Next To NJTransit
October 16, 2019Really happy i was able to find this place. I moved in about a year ago because my NY rent was getting way too high. I work in the city and the commute is super easy. Its literally one block from the train to NYC. The management cleans the building every morning and always have someone around. Overall, im happy with the place and will probably stay a few more years.Review from Apartments.com
Do not move here!
July 11, 2016This place is the worst, they have roaches all over and a bed bug infestation. I moved out because I couldn't take it anymore, there was mold growing on the windowsill. I called the Department of Health and the building already has a file and violations. The management should be ashamed of themselves, when I told them about my issues they blamed me, even though I talked with several people dealing with the same problems as me. They keep the trash in the basement and it's everywhere, which should ...be a violation. This place is a scam, it looked decent and is cheap but there is a reason why, it's because it's infested. May 3, 2016This is rodents infested building and mold and they have so many violations that no more can be given, so that tell me that the City of East Orange NJ. isn't doing there job, by not follow up on these issues. 1) Mold in Bathrooms 2) Wall Sockets sitting on the floor, not built into the wall. 3) Bed Bug Problems 4) Garbage cans in basement with lids but 99.9 % garbage is left on floor, this is invite for rodents.(need dumpster). 5) Roaches meeting you at door and in my great grandchildren bed you ...actually hear the mice running around in the walls. 40 Lenox Ave EO. NJ.management refuse to allow my great grands mom out of her lease. I have pictures of the Mold, Wall Sockets Sitting on the floor, Roaches & Mice in Traps. Oh, and they received section 8.so i will be contacting the State & Media, I don't know how that building pass inspection and my great grands are 1 & 2 yrs. of age.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
