The apartments are nice, and it has nice amenities however they do not take care of this place. The dog parks do not get shoveled, and turn to ice. They plow the snow into the dog park so you can barley get in. They also do not plow the snow right away and you are going to have to shovel, and walk through the snow. If you live in the annex, people are not suppose to park against the fence, but they do so sometimes you'll be stuck in your parking spot, unable to get out without moving it 300 times ...
first. they don't tow anyone so don't worry about the signs
theey also encourage people to park in a parking garage during the snow, yet you will have to walk a mile to get your car. yes there are other dog areas but they are so small you can barley fit 2 dogs.

Hello, we are disappointed to learn of your review. We love to hear that you have enjoyed your apartment and the plethora of amenities we offer, but we are sad to hear your concerns regarding the most recent snow storm. As you know, we started notifying residents of the snow storm in the middle of the week. Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of the storm’s timeline, we weren’t able to solidify a concrete snow removal plan until the storm was completed. As soon as the snow removal company notified us of their estimated arrival time, we communicated with all residents – which was early Sunday afternoon. This communication clearly stated that the back lot (surrounding the Annex) would be cleaned Monday morning. We also encouraged residents prior to the storm to take advantage of free covered parking in a local garage to help avoid the need to move your vehicle multiple times or have to dig your car out. While the garage may not be conveniently located on the property it is available for ...
FREE for your use, and there are plenty of services in Manchester to help you get back to your apartment safely where you don’t have to walk a mile. We apologize that the dog park most convenient to your apartment is not fully accessible at this time, but due to the overabundance of snow we have received this winter we are limited on where were can put it. However, as you stated, there are two additional dog parks on property that you are able to access, one of them is just north of the Annex. While these alternatives may not be what you are used to, they are readily available. After living here for over a year, I can honestly say I love my Loft. From the high ceilings to the hardwood floors, granite countertops, super-sized windows, and tons of cabinet and closet space the apartments are BEAUTIFUL. Pet friendly. The Management and staff are always willing to help with the smallest issues. I couldn’t have picked a better, safer, nicer place to call home!!!

We have lived here for a year and although I was hesitant about living in an apartment after owning a home for 30 years I couldn't be happier. The convenience of walking across the bridge for dinner on a cool evening or the 5-10 min drive to shop for anything I might need is really nice. The front desk staff are amazing and have helped with all our questions as we adjusted to city living. Yes, the snow storm shuffle is a drag (first time was a bit confusing but after that no problem and part of ...
city living!) but they have a garage across the bridge available during storms so you don't have to dig your car out (for free). I personally don't mind walking across vs. digging my car out. I love the original wood floors and the brick arches, huge windows, historical photos in the common areas and high ceilings. It all makes for a gorgeous place to come home to and relax. We occasionally hear people in the hallway or above us but nothing I would consider annoying. You do hear city traffic but we are IN THE CITY! We have a little dog and that has also been a good experience. This is a VERY pet friendly building with designated dog runs which is really nice in the city. The maintenance staff is also very responsive whenever I've asked for something (light bulbs, vent adjustment) but we haven't really had any problems. If it had a garage I would say it was perfect but we still love living here!

Loved my 1 years at the Mill, the amenities are great, if the weather is nice you can walk across the Notre Dame Bridge and be on Elm St in 8-10 minutes, and if not an Uber/Lyft is like $7 to get wherever you need to go. Parking was always annoying, if you get home late you will sometimes struggle to find parking (especially if you're on the river side or all the way at the end of the building closest to W Bridge St.) and the fact that you have to move your car like 6 times when it snows is ...
wildly annoying, but overall I loved my time there and always found the front office staff to be super helpful and welcoming (shoutout to Ms. Wendy.)

We have lived here for 2 years and absolutely love it! We rent a modern loft apartment with a view of the city, and the historic mill atmosphere with the exposed brick, original wood floors and gas fireplace is exactly the decor we were looking for. The amenities offered at Lofts at Mills West include a function room with full kitchen, multiple couches and TVs with full cable and a fireplace. It is always accessible and the tenants are accommodating in sharing the large rooms with others. ...
There is also a game room, gym, theatre room and library. The rooftop patio with multiple tables and chaises is great for summertime entertaining. The parking is very accessible and management does a great job in keeping up with the maintenance of the grounds. The building is pet friendly for small and medium size animals with a specific area designated for dogs. The management staff here are always available, accommodating and extremely friendly. For one who wants city living, I would highly recommend living here.
