Unsafe Community
June 11, 2025I haven’t had a good experience with Los Altos Towers at all. I’ve been booted by accident because they got the wrong vehicle, and had to wait a couple days for it to be removed costing me issues with my job. I’ve had my car broken into and vandalized twice within a one year period and they refuse to add more cameras and say they have “periodic security”, which is a lie. There is always someone having their car vandalized here and all the office can say is in short terms “welp it’s not our fault ...even though it constantly happens we won’t try to better anything”. I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll be breaking my lease and leaving since I can’t feel safe in my own residential community.Property Manager Responded

Fantastic Place To Live!
May 26, 2021I am in my third year living at Los Altos Towers. I love it. My dog loves it! I believe Los Altos is a very affordable place to live. The amenities are wonderful. We have an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, hot tub, billiards, dog run, clubhouse room, laundry facilities just to mention a few. I live on the top floor of the east tower facing the Sandia Mountains. The views are incredible. One of the most important things I look for when renting an apartment are the staff that manage ...the community. The staff here are exceptional in my experience. This includes the leasing manager Kathy, the assistant manager Mary and the maintenance staff Arturo and Michael. They are very friendly and responsive. The entire property is very well maintained. I highly recommend Los Altos Towers because of the great apartments, the reasonable rents, the friendly and responsive staff, the numerous amenities, and finally the maintenance of the community! Awesome and Affordable Apartments
December 11, 2020I highly recommend Los Altos Towers especially if you’re working at KAFB. It is great value for money and the gated complex makes it one of the safest buildings in the area. Management and maintenance are awesome; particularly Kathy the Property Manager and Arturo the Maintenance Manager. There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, exercise facility, and lounge area (unfortunately all closed due to COVID for now). Residents are mostly older folk which makes for a quiet, friendly environment but ...there are a smattering of younger KAFB airmen and contractors and medical professionals as well. The views from the upper floors are great and the apartment balconies are enjoyable to use when the weather is good (which is most of the year). I extensively shopped the apartments in the area and chose Los Altos Towers and I’ve been very happy with my decision.Property Manager Responded

Hidden gem of Los Altos Park!
August 4, 2015Los Altos Towers apartment isn't on the way to anywhere. It's not a building that you will drive by and spot. It's there, hidden away behind the Los Altos Golf Course. This gem was built in the early 1970s and is a mid century modern structure. With it's indoor and outdoor heated pools, gym, and party room it's a great place to relax. Outdoors there is a lovely grassy knoll for walking your dog. There's also a large dog park behind the parking lot for play dates with other dogs! Front door is ...handicap accessible with a great sitting area for watching the giant Japanese carp in the pond. There's also a giant frog/toad that rules over the pond. You're lucky if you get to see him. He's shy. The residents here a very nice and diverse. There are servicemen and women, doctors in residence from UNM, senior citizens with great stories to share and some families. Saturday mornings is free donuts and coffee in the party room. Did I mention we have a pool table/ping pong table? Apartments vary in size but come with oversized balconies and spacious closets. I've been living here for 2 years and don't have any plans on moving. Staff is very friendly, attentive, and sincere.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
