I lived in Lyon Village Apartments for 5 years and only left because we moved out of the region, and I would highly recommend it. Management and maintenance are always helpful and responsive. The units have large rooms and a great kitchen for apartments this size, plus additional storage on site if needed. The location and community is also excellent, good shared outdoor space on the property and just a short walk to Courthouse/Clarendon

I have lived at Lyon Village for a total of 3 years and had a generally excellent experience. Management is helpful and quick to respond as is maintenance. Location is fabulous, with almost immediate access to 66, a 10min commute into DC, and less than .5 miles to a Metro station with high walkability. The buildings and grounds are clean and well maintained; during the duration of my residency, I never observed pests or vermin of any kind - a rarity in this area. I'm only leaving this location ...

I spent 2 years at Lyon Village and I LOVED my time here! I had a one-bedroom; the apartment was spacious and beautiful. The amenities (in unit laundry, dishwasher) are new, the wooden floors are lovely, and every room has at least one window which gave so much natural light to the place. The building is kept clean and the courtyard is immaculate. Faye is wonderful; she is so organized and on top of things. Move in / move out instructions were super clear, and with her oversight the ...

management has been seamless. Additionally, any maintenance request I had was resolved within 24 hours - usually faster than that, as they were often resolved within just a few hours. Regarding the neighborhood: everything I needed was close by. The metro is within walking distance, downtown Clarendon is super accessible, and a Starbucks, dry cleaners, and the Italian Store were even closer. I would also recommend this location if you love running or biking; the Custis trail is right across the street. I’m a 20-something woman living alone, and I’ve never felt unsafe in this area. Thank you Lyon Village, and thank you Faye, for an excellent two years! I would absolutely recommend Lyon Village Apartments and will miss this place.

I spent 3 years living in LVA and overall had a great experience. The location is prime for access into Clarendon and surrounding neighborhoods and parking is also included along with some utilities. My husband and I lived in Lyon Village for 25 years. We loved it so much we lived in three (!) different units (we moved into renovated units). It's an amazing location and Faye and the management truly care about the property and tenants. The only reason we left was because we needed an elevator due to my husband's health. The apartments are in great condition, management is very competent and responsive, and the complex as a whole is very well kept up. The location is also great given proximity to multiple grocery stores, a CVS pharmacy, and the Clarendon metro station. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone moving to the DC area as a fantastic choice.

Lyon Village Apartments is a gem in Arlington and if you're lucky enough to snag a unit, you won't regret it! The apartments are conveniently located right off of I-66, less than 10 miles from downtown DC and 0.5 miles from the Clarendon Metro Stop. around the complex and regularly keep the grass cut. During the winter, we had no issue getting snow plowed within a day. The maintenance staff are top-notch. They always responded quickly to requests, respected the space they entered, and fixed the issue! Each staff member was extremely friendly. The property manager Faye lives on site and really cares about the complex. She is an incredible manager; she is communicative, responds promptly to emails, and truly wants to get to know you as a person. We NEVER had an issue with bugs or rodents. Even being on a ground unit, we never had an issue. The building is well sealed and regularly sprayed. The complex is relatively quiet but it depends on the neighbors you have. The hallways echo and the walls are thin but overall it's a peaceful place to live. If you have a unit that faces Langston Blvd, the street can be noisy but during sleeping hours its relatively quiet. One of the biggest perks of this apartment complex is it has parking included in your rent! There are two lots on the premises and they allow one parking pass per resident in a unit. There is also free street parking if you have an extra vehicle. In our building all utilities were included except for electricity which was never very high because of the updated appliances. The units have central air conditioning which is very efficient at cooling the apartment. Lyon Village has many amenities within walking distance and is a safe area to live. We loved our time at this complex and would live there again!

I lived at Lyon Village Apartments for just over 2 years and would live there again. The property is quiet and Faye and the maintenance team make sure it is maintained and orderly. The location and price are truly unbeatable--close to a lot of grocery stores, restaurants, and transit options. The only downside is that the building only have stairs, no elevators, but the pros of living here outweigh that.

I lived at LVA for just over two years and would've stayed longer had I not bought a home nearby. The location is great for commuting by car or public transit--all options are nearby. Plenty of grocery stores around, walking and biking trails, and it's very quiet. The buildings only have stairs, which was a downside, but a doable trade-off for the other pros of LVA.

My son lived there for 3 years and it was a great place: the location is fantastic and convenient, the complex is surprisingly quiet (good soundproofing between apartments), and any maintenance requests were always dealt with promptly.
