I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!!!!
June 27, 2025I’ve had a deeply disappointing experience at this property. My car was broken into while parked directly in front of the leasing office, and shockingly, there was no security camera footage available. When I reported the incident, management’s response was cold and dismissive -they simply handed me a trash bag to collect the broken glass and showed zero empathy or concern. This wasn’t an isolated incident. Just a few months earlier, several cars had their tires stolen in the same parking lot. ...Clearly, security is a serious and ongoing issue here. Even worse than the lack of safety is the way management treats residents. They routinely ignore concerns and make no effort to resolve ongoing problems. In my case, water has been leaking onto my patio for months, damaging my furniture and even splashing on guests- yet despite repeated complaints, management has done nothing to fix it. If you’re looking for a place that prioritizes resident safety, comfort, or basic respect - this is not it. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Management is horrible and doesn’t care about their tenants
June 27, 2023Management here is horrible. I have two previous incidents where my car was broken into while parked in the parking garage. The third incident that happened my vehicle was stolen on the property. Went to speak to the manager and he assured me that something would be done and to email him a detailed incident report. I sent the initial email and three follow up emails without a response. The management here does not care for the safety or overall well being of their tenants. They hired a security ...guard who stays on their phone all night and the gate rarely ever works. Look else where before moving here.Property Manager Responded

Nice so far, only a few flaws
October 18, 2021Been here only three months, so the rating is a little premature. I can always update with a new one if needed. Mostly, the apartment is nice. I have a nice balcony view, maintenance requests are responded to promptly (have only needed to make one so far), and I have had no issues with receiving packages. I also like the gym and that there's a food truck that comes on most Wednesdays. My only complaints are noise - mostly people above me, and then the biggest flaw is that my unit has next to no ...cell phone reception... It's really inconvenient and I wish I had known before moving in, as I've been working from home throughout the pandemic. If I had phone reception, I'd otherwise say that so far my stay has been great.Property Manager Responded

June 7, 2019I have been here 1.5 years and really like the location, apartment itself and most of the residents are friendly. There seems to be some residents that are freely ignoring rules and it should be more closely watched. Management is finally paying more attention though. The thing I hate the most is the dragging of the trash dumpsters at 6:30 each morning across the pavers. It wakes us up when we do not have to be. Horrible solution to hauling off trash. Carpet in hallways is finally being cleaned ...after months. June 7, 2019I recently moved to the Post at Afton Oaks and really enjoy the apartment, so far. The apartment is very responsive to any requests or questions I have and are very motivated to make apartment living a community experience. There are events happening all the time. The location is also a great plus, being right in the middle of Houston and one block from the Galleria. It is very convenient to three major interstates which makes your work commute much more bearable.Review from Apartments.com
