I moved in to MAA Cathedral Arts in February. I have had a horrible experience and I avoid my home daily. I have extremely loud, excessive noise from the apartment upstairs - stomping, running, banging, slamming, etc - nowhere near typical apartment noise. It wakes me up every morning and lasts for over an hour. When I come home in the evening, the same extreme noise happens for several hours. On-duty security is unresponsive every time I call. I have been back and forth with management for ...
months and despite admitting that it sounds like there is something wrong with the construction of my unit, they refuse to do anything to solve the problem. The only solution that the current manager, Clyde, has to offer is to transfer me to a more expensive top floor apartment, but with the condition that I pay back the 8 weeks free they offered me at the front of the lease. So they acknowledge there is a problem, offer a solution, and then penalize me for accepting that solution by making me pay back the money that they offered to entice me to move in in the first place. I want to love living here but this ongoing problem that they refuse to solve makes it a a nightmare to be in my home. There are so many places you can go - do not move here!

Do not live here. I have been living here since they opened and nothing has functioned properly from the very beginning. The garage gate breaks constantly. Pipes bursting. Random fire alarms. The outdoor grills have now been broken longer than they were operational. There's been a burglary. Amazon locker parcels are still not functioning. Do not be fooled by the new building façade. Live elsewhere.

We appreciate you taking the to share with us, and we’re sorry to hear the community hasn’t live up to your expectations. We did have an issue with the gates after a major storm and repaired them as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. The grill were not yet operational until construction in that area was complete. We did have a timer issues caused by use of a grill before they were ready, and that was addressed immediately. All the grills are functioning now and we hope you enjoy cooking up some delicious food on them. The fire alarm issue was caused when a vehicle in the garage struck an overhead pipe.
