March 30, 2025This pricing isn’t great, but overall seems to have more sq ft than compared to other options for pricing. However, you can easily tell that they don’t take care of stuff. They don’t fix normal wear and tear from precious renters. The gates are never even closed, so I don’t feel like we even need them or the key card. I have no idea how to let anyone in with my “code” can’t get it to work and the office was not help in figuring it out. The dog waste bins are always overflowing. There’s still dog ...waste all over the place. Theres often no where to park near your own apartment. If they fix anything it’s half way and the cheapest option. Newer resident
May 5, 2024My roommate and I have been here for about 6 months. Very quiet community, parking is alright. Emergency maintenance can be a pain as it is a call center not affiliated with MAA, but during office hours John is amazing and efficient when fixing any and all problems! Yale locks are easy to use, wish there was a key slot on doors for the dead lock as you can only get in from the pinpad. No complaints though we love living here!Property Manager Responded

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
November 7, 2021I’ve been here for only 7 months and I’m counting down the days until my lease is up. From pest/ mice issue, poor maintenance workers, who leave the apartment filthy when they actually do show up it takes months for them to show up, you have to stress it several times and the staff STILL DO NOT CARE. Ever since we had new management things have really went down hill. My rent with up, cable doesn’t even work and it’s a hassle to get somebody to fix it. mold in showers, leaks in bathroom sinks, ...toilet issues, shower drain clogged. Broken AC unit, they came to fix it and gave me a portable AC unit that causes water damage in my living room leaking into the neighbors that live below me. You turn the heat on and the fire alarm goes off. When I moved in, the unit barley looked like they vacuumed or cleaned in there or did little to no work. This place is HORRIBLE and they are MONEY HUNGRY , I moved in as a first time renter in a rush trying to move out. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY KEEP LOOKING. only pro is they don’t have breed restrictions.Property Manager Responded

Disappointed / Livid
July 29, 2020The whole process was unprofessional. There was a lack of communication & some false advertising. I wanted to see the apartment before I moved in and they stated I could only see it on move in day. I paid hundreds to move in only for the office staff to move me into an apartment that was not all the way ready. I haven’t been here a full month and my stay hasn’t been so pleasant. From having a broken tub, to maintenance walking in and out of my apartment is just too much. When I approached the ...office staff they didn’t seem to care. If harassment from staff and cockroaches are your thing...
December 14, 2017STAY AWAY. The front desk staff is AWFUL. The property manager Tiffany is harassing her tenant by calling me names such as manipulative and putting my roommate and I against each other by telling me my roommate also says these things about me. She neglected to show any kind of urgency when I found mold in my apartment and when she finally at her own convenience came to inspect my apartment she turned my heat up to 85 degrees on a 90 degree day while my dog had to sit in that while I was away at ...work for 8 hours. Yes, you read all that right. She's just that awful. She thinks it's ok to harass and bully and yell. Also, my apartment is infested with cockroaches. Just STAY AWAY.Property Manager Responded

STAY AWAY
April 12, 2017If you are looking for a nice place to live, KEEP DRIVING PAST HERE! Pets are not cleaned up after, children run around all times of day and night and are very loud. If you report it, absolutely nothing happens. Breezeways are always dirty. Grass looks bad. If you're having a little bit of financial issues, expect no help from the office...at all! You will be issued an eviction notice. Sooooo many issues with water here. Leaking, color changing, smell, taste, you name an issue it's here! More ...money is spent on the outside to bring people in as opposed to taking care of the inside of the apartments. My vehicle was stolen, yes, stolen from inside the gate! NOT ONE PERSON FROM THE OFFICE CARED. No phone calls, no involvement, nothing. There are problems with everything. I had to get a new fridge, washer and dryer. I need a new stove now, but what's the point. The only cable you can get is Time Warner. You pay for services you don't get. Pest control for instance is monthly but it's not done monthly. You have to call to have them come out but then we pay every month. It's just overall a horrible place to be.IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE, PLEASE TAKE IT. September 1, 2015Colonial Grand @ Crabtree has been my home for 5 years. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, in a great part of town that is convenient to everything, property is well-maintained and I LOVE my apartment. It is HUGE!! I have oversized living room furniture and there is plenty of room for all my stuff! The staff here takes good care of the property AND the residents and know me by name when I go into the office.
