Management is Rude! But beautiful property
September 27, 2024The management is rude and will not help you even though it is an emergency and makes you feel that you don't pay enough to ask for help with your apartment unit—other than that, it is a beautiful property, and location-wise it is great. Unit sizes are incorrect and they know it
July 23, 2024Beware- the advertised units are NOT the size they truly are. We signed for a unit with bedrooms listed as 12x15 and 13x13. In reality, both bedrooms are 11x11. When we asked management about it, they said unit sized are "approximated" and they can't help us, sorry! Approximate sizes are not wrong by multiple feet. Do yourself a favor and find a complex that isn't using deceptive marketing.Property Manager Responded

Well Maintained Property with Professional Staff
October 27, 2022I recently moved into the Skysong apartments (within the last month) and can say that I’m pleased with my decision thus far. The property is well maintained and and the grounds around the property are very tidy. My initial contact during the application process was Kayla (believe assistant property manager) who was extremely pleasant to speak with and professional. I followed up via phone and email several times with questions I had and Kayla quickly responded. Matt (leasing agent) was ...equally helpful and professional as Kayla and was happy to answer a number of questions/concerns I ran by him. Matt and the office were extremely efficient before and on my move in day leaving nothing in doubt. Going back to the property in general- apartment was immaculate on move in day and it’s very quiet overall which is exactly what I wanted. The complex is within (or adjacent maybe better describes) a number of corporate offices which I consider a plus because there always security around and the area (even beyond the apartments) Is super clean.Property Manager Responded

Overpriced, Overrated, No Flexibility, Dishonest
October 21, 2020I moved to Arizona for a job transfer and had to choose an apartment without seeing one in person. I interacted with SkySong staff prior to the move. I specifically asked if the unit had a balcony and they assured me that it did and left it at that (I have the email to prove it). But when I got there, the balcony was so small, you could barely stand on it. They closed the pool gym, and shared space with “free coffee” for many months due to covid but wouldn’t even entertain the idea of giving ...residents a break on rent due to lack of amenities. Even though they sold the complex on all of these amenities prior to moving in. They simply said “those aren’t part of rent, they’re simply a bonus”. When I was traveling and my auto payment for rent didn’t go through, they simply left a note on my door. No call. And then proceeded to charge outrageous late fees even though I corrected it and paid rent in full a few days later. Then when I moved out and didn’t transfer the utilities back to them, they simply said it was my responsibility and copied and pasted a portion of the lease, as they do anytime you ask for any kind of flexibility. There are lots of other apartment options in the area. I would recommend avoiding this one.Property Manager Responded

Bikes stolen. Pet owners are filthy. Some student puking in public areas. It's too bad because the property is nice otherwise...
May 10, 2016Apartments are well designed and the property is pretty (except for nasty pet owners). The gym, pool and lounge are actually great. We have had 2 bikes stolen (at different times) from the gated central garage. Thieves come in and steal in waves. You can't keep your bikes on the balconies, so they go in the living room. September 18, 2015I have been at skysong for just about two weeks. I have to say I love it! I am in a very quiet corner of the complex and feel like it absolutely serene. I have little to no complaints about getting into apartment, I feel like I have exactly what I wanted for what I WANTED TO PAY! I love the parking and have had No issues whatsoever in the garage! Perfect Balance
August 14, 2015The property is situated in a great location. There are restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and more all located within a mile which makes running errands very convenient as well as a brand new huge brewery which opneed up right across the street. It is also very close to old town Scottsdale as well as being close to Tempe but far enough to not feel like you are living around college kids. The property itself is brand new and very nice. The grill, pool, and courtyard have recently been ...upgraded with more trees and sun shades over the grills. Management has been extremely helpful and friendly and have helped me out on numerous occasions. The pool is open 24/7 which is a huge plus for me. I have had such a positive experience here and everyone who lives here are respectful and nice. New complex with new problems
August 14, 2015Skysong Apartments in Scottsdale is a fairly new complex with nice amenities and good-looking architecture and tenants. However, the complex recently changed ownership and the inexperienced employees had a difficult time merging. After moving in and living in the complex for one month, I was still not in the computer system and my automatic payment was not processed. This caused one big headache with two different managers who are very hard to communicate and deal with. There are poor business ...practices in place which creates unnecessary tension with the leasing office. The units are nice, some bedrooms are small, but the biggest annoyances are the paper thin walls and doors. If your roommate uses the restroom in the middle of the night, you can count on losing sleep. August 10, 2015Property Manager is extremely rude, and new management is terrible. They expect you to pay for a Class A apartment when you get Class D service. The Property Manager is extremely rude and condescending to everyone. She has the WORST customer service skills I have ever seen in my life, and she is quite ill equipped to be in the position that she is. I would NOT recommend anyone move in here.
