November 22, 2022Our experience from signing the lease, viewing the apartment and moving in was all really smooth. The communication with the leasing office staff was great. They were so helpful with everything. Additionally, our maintenance manager is really knowledgeable and receptive to helping make sure the move is smooth. Since moving in, we've been getting used to the new sounds and smells of the community. We've learned there must be a lot of great cooks on our floor! The amenities are amazing. I've truly ...enjoyed having the gym and fitness/yoga studio. Finally, being so close to BART really gives us access to the wider Bay Area which is a glorious thing to have. March 23, 2022I've lived here less than a year and waited over 4 months to get a parking space. When I had to park on the street my tires were slashed within the 1st month of me living here; little to no sympathy from the office staff. Last month my bike was stolen from the "secure" bike room and I was met with the same "there's nothing we can do" response. I'm literally from this neighborhood and every day I walk outside to drugs and poverty. The security staff doesn’t make me feel safe and yesterday I walked ...by a dead body. March 16, 2022I've really appreciated getting to know the community managers and staff at MacArthur Commons. Move in day was so smooth and everyone was on hand to be of service if needed. I was greeted with a welcome pack and a run through of the available amenities and services. The team have been responsive to questions that have popped up. In-unit amenities and fibre-optic internet hook up are awesome as well as the proximity to BART and other local transport. December 2, 2021Management is incompetent. They do not even answer the phones and when they do 1) it is days later and 2) they always have an excuse to why they are unable to reach you in a timely manner. Management is reactive. All issues are only brought up to the resident's attention only after a complaint is brought up to them in person. For example, there was a time that the parking structure had trespassers (this happens often) and they did not notify the residents that cars were broken into. They had some ...of my property as my car was violated and then told me after visited and complained, not when my property was found by maintenance staff days earlier. They are never proactive or think about how to provide an excellent customer experience. They never take accountability or are solution-oriented. Management has a high turnover. I barely recognize people in the office because no one stays longer than a couple of months. Since no one stay longer than a couple of months, issues are not resolve and problems are not being fixed.Property Manager Responded

The interiors are well maintained, clean, and the design creates a vibrant, welcoming space. Everyone has been very friendly and respectful of each other. The amenities are great.
