Happy at Mackenzie Place
September 19, 2025I have been living here for almost 6 months and I love it here. Despite being just off of Henderson Rd, this neighborhood is safe and quiet. The rent is good for what you get (2 bd, 1.5 bath, LR, DR, kitchen, w/partially finished basement, w/d hookups, storage space, 2 parking spots, and a little porch). Shirley and Brad are great property managers and respond quickly to requests. The walls are thick. I almost never hear my neighbors. Also, I am able to walk to grocery, drug stores, thrift ...stores, and nearby restaurants. These apartments share a space with Mackenzie Village apartments so it may be confusing as to which complex you are visiting. (Place has green awnings and white parking spots; Village has black awnings and yellow parking spots.) When I was looking at apartments, I toured both places. The warmth of Shirley and Brad along with great reviews, caused us to choose Mackenzie Place as our home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
