    When I learned about Madison Park Apts., I felt like I'd found the place of my dreams. Even though, I hadn't yet been able to finish my move of all of my things, I felt I could be comfortable there. Initially the only complaint I had was, a loud neighbor. However, by the 8th month here, I found that the warning a previous neighbor gave me in the second month here that, there truly are rodent's running through the apartment. When I reported it, I waited 2 days for pest control to come, pull out ...
    the stove and place a black box behind it. That night, 3 ran around my place from different locations. I made a frantic call to emergency maintenance. I got a call back saying, "this is not an emergency issue". I advised him I am terribly afraid of mice, I was traumatized by them as a child living with my grandfather. Again, he informed me it isn't an emergency so, I waited another 2 days for them to come and do the same as before. Now, I dread coming home and I fear going to bed at night, fearful that a rodent will run across my place or even, get into my bed with me. Now, I'm not sure what I am going to do next. Even now, the criminal element in the area has, stricken by breaking the glass of our security locked door yet, we have no security officers in place. Knowing the difficulty I faced trying to find all of the amenities I searched for and, finding them at this location now, leaves me withdrawn. Madison Park isn't a terrible place but, it needs improvement. The onsite managers are the best part of the experience now.

    The staff is pleasant and professional, the janitorial staff does an excellent job cleaning. Madison Park is an older building with an aging resident population but for the most part the building is well maintained. Presently, the backdoor handles and the ramp’s guard railing need repair/replacement.
