        I have lived here for ten years through several management companies and Arcan Capital has ruined this place. It used to be an amazing place to live. Now they do not communicate at all. I’ve had two major maintenance issues where I was ignored by the office, the maintenance staff, and even corporate is slow to respond. It took over a month to have working hot water. I recently couldn’t get a single response from emergency maintenance with a sewer backup. It took an hour and a half to get a ...
        response from an email I sent to every email I had from the last disaster. It still took 6 hours to get anyone onsite. Meanwhile sewer gas was making me sick. Avoid this place at all costs. It is owned by private equity. Read reviews all over the internet including the BBB site.

        Just the advertisement on here alone should be a red flag. There’s NO park, tennis court, and we didn’t have access to the pool or fitness center this year due to renovations. The fitness center however was never made available. I have been here two years and had to pay for an outside gym membership. The listing says “no fee required” for pets yet when I asked I was told $400 deposit and a monthly “rent” added to the bill for any pet! Tanked pets included. Moving on to the problems I have ...
        personally experienced. The staff acts like it’s a bother for me to walk into the office, or ask a question, or show a concern. There’s children constantly destroying everything they can get their hands on around the property. The playground was ripped out due to “liability” yet the benches, trees, and tables that were put in for replacements were ripped apart and destroyed same week. Windows have been busted from them throwing rocks and trash is left all over the grounds constantly. Speaking of trash. Our compactor is constantly over flowing. Maybe in part because the gates haven’t closed in months! That might also be why there’s constant sweeps of car break ins! Four sweeps in the two years I have lived here. Thought after the second it would be motivation to have the gates fixed. Nope. And no real concern shown at all from anyone. Maintained will show up eventually, but any problem I have ever had has not been fixed the PROPER way. My air filter is too small for our air condition and smacks the unit every-time the air/heat kicks on. The light bulbs in my bathroom went out. They brought led bulbs to replace all 12 bulbs! Please think about how bright 12! LED bulbs would be in a bathroom! Took me a YEAR to get blinds. Granted Arcan didn’t take over until about a year ago and that was a problem left from the previous compny, either way that’s been the only plus since they took over. Corporate isn’t any better as far as customer service/support/concern goes. I have some rather rude emails from one of their reps regarding my water bill. Which is outrageous. All in all, tiny problems that aren’t address and up being extremely aggravating and stressful. 10/10 do NOT recommend. If we could get out of this place we would! And just in case I get the copy and paste “we’d love to discuss these problems further *inserts office hours*”, what good is coming to the office and trying to address these problems when your met with an attitude and dismissive behavior.

        If I could give it a 0 i would. I was living in mold with out hot water in my kitchen a caved in sink no air or heat. On top of all these things they steal out the apartments of tenants have several brake in & don’t want to give video footage to the tenant or the police when they ask. These guys have to be the most horrible management I have ever had dealings with. So save your money an move elsewhere it’s not worth it.

        These apartments are the worst. Management changes every two months. The problems here are countless. Roaches, mildew, mold, drain flies, leaking roofs, out dated appliances, break ins. I've been here a year still haven't gotten a dishwasher or ice maker. maintenance also changes every two months. Don't trust the new bikes they have out front of the rent office its complete trash here. Management clearly think renting out bikes to tenants is more important than renovation which are desperately ...

        I've been here a month. Asked maintenance to do some minor repairs. I told them up front to not enter my apartment without my permission. Twice now they have come in to "repair" but nothing is ever actually fixed. None of the outside lights on my floor work and nobody is working too hard to fix them. The office staff NEVER answer the phone. If I hadn't needed a place fast for my new job, I would have kept looking.

        Staff took a process of two months to fix the air conditioner in my apartment. I had a newborn and had to call the city to get a timely response. Staff also lost my lease and could not provide me with a copy. Staff does not pick up the office phone and when you walk in to speak with them, they don’t answer the door or have their headphones in.         The management is horrible! Has changed mangers 4 times in last 2 years. They do not follow through on work orders. It takes more than 2 weeks to have simple issues repairs completed. The office always says they have emergencies like hot water heaters and air conditioners to fix. The appliances are well over 20 years old and always breaking down!         If you are thinking about moving here, DON’T. It isn’t safe, maintenance is slow, and the office staff doesn’t communicate well. First my apartment got flooded by my upstairs neighbors. I had spent the night with my boyfriend on a Sunday night and when I got home from work the next day, the ceiling was caved in, the paint was ruined, furniture and electronics were wet, the carpet was lifted up, and there were several commercial carpet fans drying the carpet. The office never even notified me ...
        about what happened. The apartment was unlivable, but they did not offer to have me stay elsewhere. Nor could they give me a time frame of when it would be fixed. So I grabbed some clothes and went back to my boyfriend’s place. I went back to check on the progress on Friday, 4 days later, and not only had they not done any repairs whatsoever, but my bedroom window was broken in and a hole was cut in the screened porch. Mind you, this is within sight of the front office and the maintenance garage. Nobody had noticed. My apartment was robbed of EVERYTHING. Luckily they let me and my roommate out of the lease, but we never got our deposit back. The gates were broken the entire 3.5 years I lived there. There were always car break ins. My dishwasher was broken for 3 months. I had packages stolen. It just isn’t safe or a good place to live. Look elsewhere for an apartment. Macon is known for crime, so I recommend somewhere with cameras and make sure you get renters insurance.

        I have lived here for years and am now leaving. The past staff was excellent, but the recent group that they have now is horrid! Outside bulbs are never replaced and the common areas are filthy and have not been pressure washed in years now. People constantly throw trash off their balconies and there are actually used diapers hanging in the trees. All these issues have been brought up to management several times with nothing done.         midnight, mine being one if them. Multiple calls to the on-site officer and maintenance went unanswered. It then took a week for the window to be replaced. Absolutly horrible staff response to any issue. I no longer feel safe in this complex!!!

        I have been here for a little over a year now. I love my place but pest is sometimes an issue as well as getting maintenance to come and fix things. I called once and they said they would put it in but I had to call like 2 weeks later to follow up and they claimed they didn't see a work order for it. Huge inconvenience.
