Mice infestation in most apartments beware!
October 20, 2023At my building there is a mice infestation that resulted in catching over 20 mice! We had to put sticky mice traps all over the apartment. They also take all your deposit for "cleaning". Who charges over 400 for cleaning a 900.sqft apartment? I do not recommend living there unless you don't mind mice crawling all over the apartment as pets.Review from Apartments.com
Bad management bad maintenance
January 3, 2023The office staffs and maintenance staff are rude. The maintenance staff knocks on doors as if to break them down and enters the room in dirty dirty dirty shoes. They don't leave any notes when they enter the apartment. It's kinda scared. Homeless people come in and out of apartment buildings in the evening and early morning. Don't move here
May 16, 2021I wish I can give negative rating. WORST PLACE TO LIVE Issues I faced, 1. There was centipede in house (found them in bed room, living room, bathroom everywhere. Complained to management multiple times but they can't fix it permanent) 2. I became a victim of house egging. 3. Apartment is very old that if people upstairs walk you can hear that. People living downstairs called cops multiple times because you walk to bathroom/kitchen in the night) very unfriendly neighbors. 4. They never cleaned AC ...vent. it was dirty and dusty alot. 5. Nice apartment/terrible maintenance
April 12, 2019The apartment is nice for the price but the maintenance staff is incredibly unprofessional. When they need to do something, there is never any notice and they bang on your door like the building is on fire at all hours for minor things. They don't wait to enter if you ask for a minute. If they enter your apartment when you're not home, they don't leave a notice like most professional companies. It's very unsettling to come home to find things moved around and you don't know who was in your ...apartment unless you call the office to check. Twice they shut off the water to the whole building for hours in the evening with zero notice. We found out by trying to turn on the kitchen sink to fill a pot to boil water for dinner. Great location, great units, great price
December 29, 2017My husband and I moved into a 1 bedroom as our first apartment after getting married. It's a much larger space than other apartments in the area and at a great price point. The appliances are not new, and the overall feel is not as modern as some other places, but we decided we would rather have the space than a fancy stove top. Definitely the right call. Be aware that there aren't laundry units in each apartment, but units for each building. However, we haven't had any issues with that and have ...never had to wait long if we needed to run a load. The apartments are decently sound proof in the back bedroom area, but not near the entryway and around the front door. We live on the first floor and have never heard footsteps or anything else above us, but if someone is talking loudly in the hallway, we will hear that. Great Apartment Complex!
December 5, 2017My wife and I moved to Margate Manor right after graduating from college and getting married. We lived here for 7 years. The apartment was beautiful and reasonably priced. The neighborhood quiet and well-maintained. As a matter of fact, our maintenance man lived on site and was quick to come help us if we put in a call. There are many stores and restaurants in the area. The Fairfax Cue bus will take you right to Vienna Metro if you need to go into the city. It's really convenient.
