About Mariners Court Apartments

Welcome home to Mariner's Court - one of Old City's most historic apartment buildings, located on a quiet tree-lined street, on beautiful Vine Street! With details like an original facade, cobblestones, and wrought-iron gating, this loft building will have you drooling over its historic charm and character. Built in 1850, originally as part of the Franklin Sugar Factory, this building has stood the test of time, and now welcomes its residents with 10+ foot ceilings, tons of natural light, and unbelievably large living spaces - some with two levels and upwards of 1,300 square feet! The building has a variety of one and two bedroom floorplans to choose from (both single story & bi-level), as well as two distinct finish types. Additional amenities include on-site property management, 24/7 maintenance, in-unit washers & dryers, modern entry guard system, courtyard, parking and more. The building is currently undergoing a tasteful renovation in the common areas that will pay homage to the building's rich history, while modernizing its look and feel for the future beyond. • If you want mold and an apartment that's falling apart, move here.

      September 19, 2023
I resided in this place for nearly seven years. When I initially moved in, it was a delightful experience. The owners and property manager were outstanding. However, the building changed hands multiple times and saw a revolving door of property managers. Everything was running smoothly until Lucern Management took over and wreaked havoc on the property. The property manager at that time was exceptionally inept. After another change in ownership and several more shifts in property management, ...
things improved somewhat compared to the Lucern era. Nevertheless, the building had deteriorated significantly and remained in a state of disrepair. The new owners refused to invest in the necessary repairs and maintenance, allowing the property to fall into disarray. I encountered numerous leaks during the last four years of my stay, and these issues were never properly addressed. It was not the fault of the maintenance team but rather the owners' reluctance to hire competent professionals for the job. The maintenance staff was stretched to their limits, and it often took weeks to have anything fixed. These persistent leaks eventually led to the growth of mold (which I had tested), causing severe allergy and asthma problems for both my son and me. We suffered from frequent illnesses with no clear explanation. In addition, I had a compromised immune system due to a cancer diagnosis while living in this apartment. As a result, the living conditions became overwhelming, and the owner refused to accept any responsibility. Ultimately, I chose to vacate the premises. I strongly advise against moving into this building. It is no longer properly maintained, plagued by mold, and in a state of constant deterioration. The original construction was flawed, and rectifying it would essentially require a complete overhaul. While it was once a beautiful home, the current owners' utter neglect has turned it into a nightmare. Unless you're comfortable with your apartment constantly leaking and falling apart, I would strongly discourage considering it as your new residence.

    • Spacious two story two bedroom with fireplace and private outdoor spaces

      July 30, 2015
This apartment is truly a home, complete with 8 windows across two floors. A large living room with high ceiling, closet, exposed beams and a fireplace is a comfy spot to cuddle up on the couch or gather with friends. The kitchen is huge, with a wall of cabinets, stainless steel countertops, and exposed brick. Just off the kitchen is the door to the outdoor patio. Upstairs is two bedrooms, both spacious, one with exposed brick, closet, and patio access, the other features a closet and private ...
entrance to the apartment. In between the bedrooms is the bathroom with a tub shower, laundry units, and vanity.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on scale of 1 (below average) and to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider needs as part of the school selection process.
