Listen, I'm not normally the type to trash a place online, but I can't stay silent about Marq Townhomes. This place seemed promising, but it's been a complete disaster, especially for me and my dog.
My dog is an ESA (I know, I know... but like a real one), and the reason I had to send him to live with family is heartbreaking. He was attacked by two unleashed dogs belonging to another resident – a serious incident that landed us in the emergency vet. When I brought this up to management, they ...
basically shrugged it off. Turns out, they don't enforce their own leash policies, and the grounds are a minefield of dog poop.
The billing here is a whole other level of ridiculous. Despite setting up my own gas service, they keep charging me for it. Plus, my rent was supposed to be a certain fixed amount a month with internet included. Now it's ballooned over $600 MORE with all sorts of unexplained "service fees."
I moved here expecting a safe place for myself and my ESA. Instead, he was injured, I'm drowning in unexpected bills, and it's clear management couldn't care less about the wellbeing of residents. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. It's honestly not worth the risk.
