I just moved a few weeks ago into my Marquis at Westchase apartment. It has felt like home from the beginning. I haven't wanted to make my place look really nice since I had my last home more than 10 years ago. I really like the attached garages. Yep-attached. The floorplans make really good use of the space. Floorplans really make the difference. You could have more square footage somewhere else but it might be poorly planned and feels like less square footage. I can't say enough about my ...

Our family of three recently moved from a 2 bed, 2 bath, 1400 square foot house in south east Iowa to Houston, TX. Imagine my horror when I found out the week before the move that the 1st apartment complex we applied to "lost" our application and we didn't have an apartment waiting. Yes, that was 1,000 miles in a moving van with an upset toddler and no home at the end of the road. We arrived in Houston on Thursday and I had to start work on Monday... The Marquis at Westchase staff were ...
wonderful when we walked in on Saturday, day 3 of the frantic search. The leasing agent put up with the screaming toddler as she showed us the lovely apartment available for immediate move-in. She helped us with computer application between amusing the toddler. She was able to get us our keys that day. The moving van arrived Sunday and I started work Monday on time. We are in the largest 2 bed, 2 bath layout and it is great. Size of the apartment and the attached garage made the transition from the house fairly painless. Maintenance is fairly prompt for repairs and the complex is very clean. The garage side trash pickup 3 days a week is nice. Also, the dumpsters are never overflowing. The minor problems... They planted the wrong type of trees around the pool so flowers and some leaves are always in it. They clean it once a week but they can be annoying. The apartment power is "dirty" and like to kill fluorescent and incandescent bulbs. We got LED bulbs which are more expensive and they've lasted 7 months so far. Overall, it is a great apartment in a wonderful area.
