I’ve been a tenant at Meadowbrook Apartments for nearly five years. The community is safe and, for the most part, well-maintained. Pandora, the manager, is absolutely amazing—always ready and willing to help in any capacity.
However, our current maintenance man, Donald, leaves much to be desired. Last year, when my dishwasher was being replaced, he arrived unprepared without the proper tools and did not communicate when he would return. Several days later, he entered my apartment without notice. ...
During that visit, he left my door open, allowing my 13-year-old indoor-only cat to escape. I was unaware she had gotten out, and she remained outside for over an hour. Thankfully, I was able to find her, but the situation was extremely stressful.
To make matters worse, a stray animal entered my apartment through the open door and wasn’t discovered until hours later in a back bedroom.
Because I wasn’t informed of his visit, I hadn’t moved any furniture. Donald shoved my couch aside carelessly, breaking two of its legs—one of which could not be repaired. When I brought it to his attention, he simply shrugged and offered no apology.
As someone who works from home and requires a quiet environment, I’ve repeatedly had issues with Donald being excessively loud when entering my apartment. Despite being informed of my work situation, his noise has disrupted conference calls and virtual meetings on multiple occasions. It has become such a problem that I’ve had to request he no longer enter my unit during working hours.
To be clear, this is not reflective of all staff or contractors. The pest control technician who services the property every other month is excellent, and other contractors—such as painters and plumbers—who have completed work in my unit have all been professional, respectful, and considerate.

I really enjoy living here, especially as a mother of a small child. The environment and attitude of other tenants all seem to be family oriented, which is a super plus for me, but the staff is wonderful as well. Pandora (landlord / property manager) goes out of her way to make sure all your requests are handled in ASAP. If you need something, she's on it!!
These apartments are convenient!!! They are minutes from the heart of up-and-coming Foley and maybe 10 minutes from Gulf Shores...making ...
every drive a smooth one.
We first started out in the 2BR/ 1BA but have since moved to the 3 BR/ 3BA. Do you casually know anyone that has a 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment / home? I do not. I absolutely love it!! And i love boasting about it because it truly is a rare find. My fiancé, my daughter and myself all get our own closets and bathrooms! How lush?!

I live in one of the three bedroom units with a couple of close friends and I've only had positive experiences. Any issue that has come up with the apartment (Even one or two that we may have caused through lesser Adulting experience) has been dealt with and fixed fast, like within a day or two of me letting Miss Paula know. We had activities during holidays and Paula, the property manager did her best to please everyone. Been here about 7 weeks and haven't been pleased. Dish washer hasn't worked since i moved in. Maintenance man has been out twice. The 2nd time he fixed the first issue now it pours water all over the floor. My AC went out Christmas Eve morning when it was over 80 degrees that day. Do not offer 24 hour service. I'm six months pregnant and have a 3 yr old so we spent 4 days in an apartment that never got below 82 degrees even with fans. Office managers response to our AC being out was you should ...

I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience during the holidays. I can assure you that our goal is to take care of maintenance issues right away. We do not typically post our maintenance protocol on the advertising website, but we do explain that in person during lease signing. However, since you were not officially on the lease and therefore not in the office during lease closing, I can understand why you were not aware of our maintenance protocal. We prefer our maintenance orders come from authorized leaseholders, not extremely over-extended "guests". I'm glad we could resolve the issues for the leaseholder as soon as were were made aware of the problem. Our goal is to keep our registered tenants happy!

I live in a three bedroom apartment with THREE bathrooms. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets plus a very large pantry. I have lived here a year and five months.
