Total Scam- Here is my story
March 15, 2017My girlfriend and I walked by and saw the "for rent" sign near the curb. We met the "manager", an woman named eliza. After speaking with her, she assured us we were number two on the list, and wanted $80 for a background check. She was unable to show us either apartment, which should have been a clue. Months of un returned phone calls went by, but today she answered, and refused to explain why she hadn't called or anything else I asked her. Vacancy rates are low here in Medford, Oregon, and the ..."scam" is taking multiple applicants "background check" money, even if 10 or 12 people apply. August 29, 2015I have been here for five years. I love that it is a secure building and that all utilities are included in the rent. It makes it nice to be able to know that it's all taken care of. The building is on the register of historic places. The owner is doing a good job at maintaining the building and keeping the miss 20th century charm.Review from Apartments.com
