Don’t do it
June 30, 2023Lived at memorial west for two years. Staff is pretty cool and nice. My boyfriend got his wheels stolen here in broad daylight and also our parking neighbor got his wheels stolen. Even had someone’s wheel stone IN FRONT of the leasing office. Seems to happen a lot here. I thought it would be nice living indoors and having a parking garage but it's not. People come flying around the corners like it's a racetrack and then stare you down like it's your fault. Not to mention an accident happened and ...when you try to report it, it goes unread. Inside your apartment you better be prepared to call maintenance a lot. Upon moving in we were greeted with mold and the issue wasn’t fixed until two months later. Also our ac randomly cut off and wasn’t fixed for a month as well, we did get portable ac but didn’t really help in Houston weather. The doors occasionally stop working and you have to go to floor above and then go down a flight of stairs to come in. The issue doesn't get fixed until a week later. Upon coming inside you get greeted by nasty smelling carpet and mismatched paint coverups throughout the entire complex. (Except the first floor for tours?) they try to clean it but it just smells worse. When you enter your apartment you better love the smell of w**d because you will get a stench of it every time you enter. Overall if you see this review, please choose a different complex. Amazing amazing apartment
September 4, 2022I lived here for about 3 years. I loved every second of living here, it is a nice quiet apartment. Lots of local restaurants, groceries stores, beauty and wellness centers around. Memorial city mall and city center are also about 10mins away. There's a local postal center right across the building. The amenities are great, staff is nice and maintenance responds in less than 48hrs. Absolutely loved living here, go for it, you wont regret it!!!Property Manager Responded

August 5, 2022Where do I start...I just LOVED absolutely everything about this place! The property was absolutely gorgeous, the grounds were very well maintained, and the amenities were really great! The office staff was very welcoming and greeted me right away. Stacey showed me the apartment, and then she showed me around the community, and she was absolutely amazing to say the least. She was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns, and she made me feel so comfortable. She was the best ...amenity, and the best billboard for her company that I've ever seen. BEWARE
July 12, 2022BEWARE!!! Today is the second time my tires/rims/wheels got stolen. 04/29/21 was the first time and today 7/12/22. The apartment complex has done nothing to rectify this. Who wants to live somewhere where their belongings are not safe Our bike was also stolen from the bike room around October 2020. We never heard from the front office after the first two incidents, no one even made the attempt to reach out to us for even an apology. I bought wheel locks after the first incident and this still ...happened. Should I stand next to my car the entire night and guard it Since we have been here, we have personally seen over 20+ cars with no tires. Why don't we have overnight security How much could it possibly cost to hire someone to stay overnight I just finished talking to someone in the front office and was completely blown off. There will be no change and no one cares to actively find solutions for this obvious problem. The gate was also broken for weeks and homeless people would come in, the only reason it was fixed was b/c we reached to them to notified them of the situation. On another note, the parking lot and stair cases are always disgusting. Trash everywhere. The trash cans will be filled to the brim with even trash all around on the floor next to it for days. I see maintenance walking around daily so I don't understand why no one is emptying them. The stair cases are full of trash, alcohol containers, cigarettes... it always smells like weed. If you have a dog good luck finding a bag at one of the pet stations b/c they are always empty. Over $10,000 worth of goods stolen to live in a place that charges way too much and does not live up to its appearance.Property Manager Responded

December 22, 2021I’ve lived here for about 2 months. Staff is extremely helpful. Paige was amazing during the leasing process, answering all my questions and concerns. Kat is also really helpful and great at addressing concerns. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Location is great, easy access to I-10 and close to shopping.
