Merit manor has its pros and cons.
Parking lot is lit, makes you feel safe. There is also night security. For me there isn't much noise going on past late hours (my experience) if there is any maintenance issues majority of the time it's gets fixed that same day (depending on the issues of course) & as for the inside it is pretty decent considering it's clovis and has good location.

There is a major roach issue on the grounds. Not
...necessarily inside the apartments. I did have a issue with them being inside the apartment when we first moved in (it was horrible) luckily I noticed before we moved anything in but they had their pest control come in within a week and spray our apartment and soon they went away (haven't had a issue with them being inside since(it's been 1year now)
They do biannual inspections of your apartment when they come in to check any damages, fire alarms etc. which is ok I guess but such an inconvenience since they say you dont need to be present during inspection so they can enter when you're not home (because they gave a notice in advance) which I am not okay with because I have a dog and I know my dog will not be okay with any random strangers entering & I refuse to leave my dog on the patio all day while I'm at work. So I actually have to request time off on inspection days to be home & since they say they will come anytime from 8-5 it's just a hassle.
I still live here but from what I heard you don't ever get your full deposit back no matter how well it's clean, not even half the deposit . They say it's because they need to pay for a deep cleaning & when someone suggested to look for a other cleaning company at lower rates so they get some more of their deposit back they said no it has to be "merit manor approved"
