Great Apartments
July 2, 2023I have lived at Merrimac Manor 2 months. My apartment has a new dish washer, new stove and new refrigerator. The air conditioner chills all rooms – I sleep with a blanket. The kitchen and bathrooms have new “thick” Formica counter tops, and new hardwood cabinets. Merrimac staff, both maintenance and management are courteous and friendly. I recommend Merrimac to anyone looking for a safe and quiet home.Review from Apartments.com
Love it here
June 16, 2021This place is huge, pet friendly, neighborly and close to everything. The grounds are maintained weekly and the staff goes above and beyond. We have package services, pest control services and maintenance issues handled quickly. The entire staff knows my dogs name and is super friendly with her. The rental rate is super reasonable and I can see myself here until it is time to PCS.Review from Apartments.com

June 7, 2021I have been resident of Merrimac Manor for 4.5 years and have never had a complaint. The landlord is awesome at keeping things in order around the property. Best part is the place is pitty pup friendly and only takes 7-15 minutes to get to the beach.Review from Apartments.com
Merrimac Manor a GREAT place to live!
June 7, 2021I currently reside at Merrimac Manor apts. I have got to say this is a great place to live. It is family friendly and pet friendly. The Property Manager Tina goes above and beyond to enforce the rules to make this a harmonious place to live for us all.They have a courteous package door delivery program. The Maintenance staff are very knowledgeable and friendly when coming into my home to complete a work order. I recently had a major surgery and all of the staff went above and beyond to be helpful ...to me. I just cant say enough about this place. The grounds are kept neat, the units are clean and bright. The doggy stations are a great convenience for pet owners. They have 2 pools. 1 for families and 1 for Adults only to appeal to everyone's preference. Not helpful whatsoever
May 13, 2019On May 13,2019 I called trying to find out some information on their 2 bedroom apartments. The site says that there are some coming available soon but did not state the date. When I called the agent told me as soon as I said that I had some questions “if it’s about apartments, we do not have any”. I asked if there would be any available soon and she replied that no they did not. I let her know that the site stated that there are some coming available soon and she said that she “doesn’t know who ...is responsible for the online advertising but no, there are none available”. I asked if she knew when the next two bedrooms leasing cycle would be up and she said she didn’t know. I followed up with asking if the manager would know because I understand that sometimes managers are the ones who deal with leases. She responded by stating “ma’am, I am the manager and I am telling you that there are no apartments available and I don’t know when they would be”. Incredibly disappointed in the service. The apartments are gorgeous looking and very convenient to where I work so I would have overlooked the bad customer service if I had only gotten one foot in the door at least.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible Experience!
January 25, 2018I'm active duty military and have NEVER in my life experienced someone as rude as the manager was. She was very unprofessional and ultimately he reason I decided to take my business elsewhere. After asking to have a copy of the lease to take down to legal before I signed anything, she snapped about how I was cutting into her lunch time and should've just signed like I said I was. Furthermore, I asked to see the property which would be available the next week to move in. She refused to let me see ...it stating it was not clean. I told her I didn't mind if it was dirty I just wanted to see the layout. She was very rude about it telling me she's not forcing me to put the deposit down and there were plenty other ppl waiting on the property. Who says that to a potential tenant wanting to see what they are spending their money on! I really thought it was a joke the way she acted. I would never recommend this place to anyone in the military. She had the nerve to tell me, another grown woman, I better listen to her if I want a good relationship. lol. Fortunately I don't have to have a relationship with this company. She seems shady and I'm glad I saw her true colors before I was stuck in a contract with them.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Receptionist was very rude.
December 20, 2016Talked to a lady in their office about a 2 bedroom apartment on the 12/19/2016. Already giving us a bad look as we entered the office. I ignored it. Told her we'd come back tomorrow to see the apartment since she said it still wasn't ready for showing. Called back and told me straight up that if I'm not going to be moving in by tomorrow then she doesn't want us to waste her time. Can you believe that? Waste her time. September 15, 2015We moved here over a year ago, just sighed our 2nd year lease here and plan on staying until my husband gets out of the Air Force. The Staff here are absolutely wonderfully, so friendly and very quick to respond to any issues we may have. Very large rooms with lots of closets for storage.Review from Apartments.com
Merrimac Manor
August 23, 2015I have lived in this place for three years, and I love it. The property manager lives on site but is most always around either on the property making it better or in the office. If you have any problems all you have to do is let them know and they will be right over to try and fix it and if they can't fix it they tell you what is going on and about how long it might take to fix it. They are always right on top of things and always trying to make it all look better. They are up to hearing any new ...ideas that might make the property look better or might even help the community!
